nfl ncaa afl high school football. any types of american football, have pads for a reason. if we DIDNT wear pads most likly hits like this can happen and KILL someone. but ive watched rugby and other sports and not to bust on you, its that that entertaining to watch as football. and also theres a euro football league thats geting big for football. but your comment was really stupid, cause its the fact that we made pads for PROTECTION so people wont DIE. being smart over stupidity wins. bye

Not always do the pads do there job. I believe that an NFL player died a couple years ago from a serious injury that he received from a massive hit.

i knew he was paralyed, but a guy who played in the nfl in 2008, named Tom McHale, died from suffering from more than 100 concussions

Tom Mchale died cause he had CTE (Chronic Traumatic Encephalopathy) which is from head trauma. and a human being cant substane so many concussions. you wouldnt be able to reach 100 without becoming mentally retarded with at least 20minor concussions. and plus one concussion can cause CTE if it was severe.

Well on his site it said he actually said he suffered over 100 concussions. He must not have had many minor concussions, or I read wrong and said that two or three players combined to have 100 concussions

I never said helmet to helmet didn't hurt. Like I said, if it was a real hit, meaning a real legal tackle and was show stopping like this, I would be much more impressed. Helmet to helmet is very easy to stop someone in their tracks.
