I get treated like crap, no respect, and my skills, discipline and enthusiasm's not valued. They'd rather give the job to a civilian who just happens to know someone in the place. I feel DISGUSTED & ASHAMED to have served. And YES, RACISM is also a part of it as well. It STILL reigns supreme in the U.S

@secret0hbh exactly right! I hate the term 'Afghanistan war'. It is nothing more than occupation by the west over a vastly inferior country in terms of military power. I also think it is very disrespectful to describe it as a war to those who fought in real wars like WW2!

If i had been around at the time i would have been privileged to serve with any of the British, American or German armies of ww2. im not a big fan of politics but a career in the military would have been fantastic during ww2!
