@dump09 both years are fine. 00-01 models have the rev limiter at 8400, 02-05 have the rev limiter at 7800. check out newcelia.org for more info

cold air intake has more gains on hp but u can risk getting hydrolock.

My dad owns a T sport celica and he has put a Typhoon K&N Induction Kit in it =) sounds great when you shift late. he gets the engine managment light come up as well but, its because he dont have a breather pipe on the hose. He will be passing the car down to me =D

yes but not from the intake. engine light was from charoal canister.

I'm looking at getting this soon, how much did you pay and would you say the performance is noticeable?

came on the car when i brought it, but it should cost u about 200 bucks. performance isn't really noticeable since mine is an automatic, but for a manual you'll probably notice it more better.
