This is the best of Bocephus. He was awesome and probably possessed in these days. This was released in about 1986-1987,,so he was on fire then. He would go on in the next few years to win multiple awards including the coveted "Entertainer of the Year" numerous times.

I honestly don't know if this is "La Grange" It's a John Lee Hooker song and even the guitaring is from a JLH song but ZZ Top did "borrow" the lick and got sued later for it.

Back in the '80's I used to mess with my buddies by telling them I was putting on some country music; "you know, Hank Williams Jr.?" .

They would do the usual complaining, until Bocephus started up on this song. Then they all wanted to make tapes from my album - y'all know what I'm talking about.
