Better? nah. It,s very pretentious to pretend your orchestration is better than Uematsu's... he's been studying this after all and composing for his whole life. i think he knows better than anyone how his music should sound... also, for more intensity, the timpani should replace the drum, like in the original. it's not a rock ballad, it,s an epic evil dude's theme.

@Loryos I never said this was better, nothing can top nobuo. I don't know where you got that from, but I did this 10 months ago, so yeah it wasn't the best remix, but whatever, you are entitled to an opinion.

MUCH better than Uematsu's version Highwind must have studied Orchestration for a while me thinks... i think drum is good where it is and the timpani would ruin the melody

@IidoTheFox Thanks, actually the little annotation in the video is a link to a fixed version of this which sounds much better than this one. The "ultimate" in the title was meant to be like saying: my ultimate remix. Loryos probably just got confused with the name or something. Thank you though!

A very good remix.

Though, I did notice that in some places the vocals are put in like...quarter to half of a beat too fast and it clashes with the notes a tad.

this took you months? took me an hour to make a FF7 Battle theme. On the other hand i really do like it, it sounds very true to the original. you should have added a few of your own parts to it to expand if not make more efficient. but like i said, its good! 4/5

pretty cool! One of the better ones out there I'll tell ya that. I really liked it after the 2:00 mark. If on the odd chance you do a second version, I would suggest adding in a bit more base, particularly in the beginning. Regardless, this has made my playlist :D
