That guy is the bassist and vocalist of the band. I also kinda know him too because he comes the town I live in in east windsor, nj in USA. He used to work at the local music shop, farrington's music in my town. Never thought there would ever be a hit from my town!

The whole Pirate Metal 'genre' is kind of too narrow and close-ended to amke a lasting career out of. There is only really room for one band to use that gimmick, and even Alestorm pretty much exhausted it in one album.
