Dear Madhura your channel is the only one where you show authentic Maharashtrian recipes. They are just like my mohter's recipes in Pune. You are awesome. Your make your recipes very simple. You seem to be genuine with no fake accent. I love your accent please do not change it. eg. there is a Gujarathi lady with absolutely funny and fake American accent. It is really ridiculous. hi there but can u tell me what we call it in English since difficult for me to get in U.K..... without knowing the English name..... i am really missing my maharashtrian meal..... please i am studying here and within these 8 months i am desperately missing those hot spicy meal we use to get.....
1. The secret weapon here, is the home-made 'goda masala'- The stuff I can buy in the Indian store is crap. My Mom and her mom make a stash every year. that stuff is the shiznet! It makes a huge difference.
2.You have a Sanshee!
3.the fried peanuts are a nice touch. I've never had Matki that way before.

Yes this can easily serve 5 people, infact matakichi usal would be little more, since while assembling misal we add only tsp of mataki usal at bottom. Thanks, enjoy :)

yes you can use moong sprouts.... Goda masala is nothing but garam masala.. You may substiute it by using storebought garam masala. Will soon post recipe for Maharshtrian Goda masala...
