  • which preset do you prefer most?

  • It really reminds me of Oblivion. Dunno why.

  • Why so much hate on this? Do you guys hate good graphics?

  • Darks get way darker. It looks like a bad plasma TV with it's color scheme messed up.

Personally, I don't like it. And I despise the *blue* tone that's given to EVERYTHING. Ew. Dark areas should be, oh, iunno, BLACK.

  • oh look it turned into WoW

  • nah original is better

  • it makes the game blue? lol fuckin awful!

  • Why wasn't the game released this way? I just don't understand the point of intentionally dulling your game.

  • this is amazing

and something that i direly missed while playing skyrim

for everything was looking quite monotoned

  • YU NO UNHIDE DOWNLOADZ

  • Are these FXAA post process injectors supposed to be very demanding, or is it another reason why they brutally cramp the fps on my moderately capable rig? Just now, I installed "Realistic Lighting Without Post-Processing" by 757823 and Pluto, which works smootly. It also gives Skyrim it's appropriate dark, Northern atmosphere, and makies it look less like Disneyland.

  • @Incantationem they are not demanding at all they just have better color correction and better AA but imo you should use enb series its quite demanding but its so much better. it brings the right graphics style to the game

  • don't use this use enb series skyrim its much much better and has better post processing effects

  • @dragonxanimation

    thanx dude

  • @kkass100 he said he was using default :P

  • @dragonxanimation

i meant thanks for telling people about enb

  • this was my favorite injector of all Fxaa.. and now it's hidden.. fuck i should of saved a copy of it.. please open it back up!

  • /watch?v=tdS9H82UL4E

  • "File hidden

This file has currently been set to hidden by the author of the file. You cannot look at this file page or download any files relating to this file until the author makes the file visible to the public again."

    why.

  • @renzcec Why don't you use your brain and look at the date the video was uploaded. This was a few days after the mod was made, aka default mod settings for its time. There was no presets when it first came out.

If you don't know what those settings are then find your own settings. Part of the mod is messing with the settings yourself to suit you so don't call shit shit if you can't use your brain.

  • LOL, default > oversaturated ENB.

  • @Jeroenneman default looks grayed like bf3 yuck

  • Its too dark

  • It frankly looks awful to me.

  • DOWNLOAD LINK

    Y U NO VISIBLE?!

  • Anyone has a working download link for this "Skyrim FXAA Post Process Injector"? The modder has disabled it for some reason.

  • Y IS DOWNLOAD HIDDEN?

  • @straaler5 skyrimnexus is not working atm

  • @straaler5 its back up again.

  • Есть мод делающий все это более мягко, естественно и без проседания ФПС.

  • tell me ur settings

  • @kkass100 lol

  • if i would have a dollar for every pixel in this videp... then i would be a billionair!

  • @96MrMaarten LOL i know right, resolution "original", omg

  • how do you upload in original?

  • I love you for this mod, it looks so great. I don't get why so many game developers hate vibrant colors, it's supposed to be a game, it's supposed to look wonderful. The default colors of Skyrim makes me so depressed.

After this mod though only the gameplay and horrible writing is making me depressed :) Again, thank you.

  • Morokei + Archmage's Robes

    >>> Hivemind

  • looks awesome! but why is the file hidden?

  • I'm not sure which one is supposed to look better. I enjoy the slightly faded appearance better.

  • Says the file is hidden...

  • link please...

  • Way too oversaturated colors. Hate it and i even have a sRGB calibrated monitor, just FYI. Cant imagine how bad this is gonna look with a monitor that has a bigger color-space than sRGB.

  • @Deffine Looks better to me. The original color palette is very depressing.

  • @Deffine Try iCCC, it looks much better.

  • Battlefield 3 still looks better >.>

  • *downloads mod* *installs mod* *plays skyrim* AHH MY EYES! MY FUCKING EYES!

  • Hats off to the hard working folk on Skyrim nexus! Love this mod, a feast for the eyes with no real drop in fps. Aren't you glad you bought this game for the pc :D Don't suppose anyone knows of a fix/mod for the awful CPU rendered shadows?

  • Does this decrease frame rate?

  • hey yvese, can you give me your fxa settings plllease?

  • Does it give u lag though?

  • i found the program here:

  • @anarion508 for some reason i can post the link :(

  • @anarion508 all the same, type in google Skyrim FXAA Post Process Injector download and u will find it in the third link

  • Why can't I download this? looks awesome, btw :/

  • i cant download it anymore on skyrim nexus, need it after reinstall

  • Grats you made the game go from looking quite realistic. to looking like fucking world of warcraft. i.e a cartoon. I love WoW but FML skyrim doesn't need to look like that.

  • @blindingsun Then don't download it. :P

  • Not good at all, way too over-contrasted colours.

  • It doesn't look good in all areas, too dark and colorful

  • Why does it flicker like that?

  • @nashertheatheist The darker shots are with the injector on and the brighter with it off. You can switch in-game.

  • @emomarten lol its the other way around

  • @nashertheatheist like a before and after comparison

  • I can see why Bethesda didn't add it. It looks better without it, IMO.

  • dude you are exaggerating the difference..

  • And no I am not a troll. Stop the video at the 0:01/4:40 and look at the horse and tell me that it doesn't look like a black blob with four feet.

  • So, let me get this right. We are to look at the improved colorations and to pretend that we can't make out a damn thing on the objects that become too dark?

  • I get the same results from turning down the brightness and HDMI black levels on my HDTV. I have it higher than that anyway, as with it like this, it's so dark you can barely see peoples faces or any detail!

  • @wildwolves @JoyuseXI This doesn't affect performance, as it doesn't improve the actual graphics. It just allows you to change the lighting.

  • Looks awesome, but will kill my pc, LOL

  • @wildwolves8 Sadly... I'm in the same boat. ;;

  • File is hidden at Nexus. Where else can I download it?

  • @shilipsy

There is another on nexus somewhere only I don't think it's quite as good. better than nought and you can always go for the 2K HD mod

  • File hidden

    wtf?

  • @XstakanX Just download it from Fileplanet.

  • @Epkeee cheers

  • snow looks blue in this vid

  • Comment removed

  • that is awesome, but something is wrong. when i swith on mod it works slower. plese, help!

  • @AutorTegoFilmu ofcource it's going to make it slower, it's post processing.

  • It's great!!! Thank you very much, creators of this mod. Reminds me more of good old Oblivion, Skyrim looked so boring grey before this. ;)

  • looks nice but microstutter

  • Hell I DO like that - I dont want to end up in depressions. Looks really interesting. The preset 2 or 3 is really good. 4 is overdone imho.

  • I like original more. Mod is nice idea but everything looks too over-saturated and it hurts my eyes just to look at it.

  • @MegaSicris yea this guy has the saturation up pretty high but you can control saturation levels it works pretty well and does a good job at sharpening things. the alduin wall looks amazing with it for example.

  • The grayer version looks cool

  • Why do you even use the injector if Skyrim has an option for FXAA?

  • @BakugoV8 The FXAA the game offers doesn't come close to this.

  • Sometimes its just too much blue, but overall it looks great. Gonna try it out for sure

  • This mod is amazing, I can't believe how ugly and bland Skyrim is when I turn mod off, I feel bad for console owners to play such an ugly game.

  • You know if you guys don't like how it looks, the mod comes with a plethora of sliders you can modify to lessen or intensify the saturation to levels you prefer. How about you people try it before bashing it.

  • No FXAA = Regular Camera , With FXAA = borrowed the "Why don'you love me?" camera from Beyoncè

  • So is the person who made the vid going from vanilla to the new textures?

  • i am following the installation instruction but whenever i try to run the game with this mod added, the skyrim launcher freezes and dialogue box appears saying:"skyrim launcher has stopped responding" can anyone help me?!

  • @tuz345 you fucked up at the install.OR you downloaded some wrong update file or something like that..

  • Just look like it's a contrast/saturation tweak, pretty ugly too.

  • Some landscapes actually look better, because they are more colorful. Some other landscapes just look like the Shivering Isles on Felldew.

  • the world looks pretty good but inside is kinda oversaturated :\

  • I don't really like that..

  • @ismaelkf It contains sliders and such all you really need is to find your option...

Don't knock until you've tried it.

  • Which preset is in this video?

  • I don't much like this mod, it seems to just make everything over-saturated.

  • hmm... WoW Color Mod :-/

  • @hhan44 Maybe not WoW but something like Oblivion, and Skyrim colours should be bleaky, its a harsh northern land after all.

  • @Irpalla boils down to personal prefernce, I prefer colour.

  • @paterah It does? That's a fact. You can't decide for other people what they like.

Sheesh, how ignorant can you be?

  • @vertigoandblastoise Well said.

  • @Irpalla Thank you sir.

  • Comment removed

  • I used this program and now is blue XD...

What did I do wrong people?... i'd appreciate a quick response

  • @astroblaster56 Try turning off technicolor.

  • dose this mod work with other games ?

  • I used to use this mod all the time, than I took an arrow in the knee.

  • The original feel more realistic

  • Overkill...I love mods, but the main quest line at least should be played through in its original form before mods are used. With this mod being abused it undermines all the hard work of the original devs, hours tweaking every color in every pixel.

  • @poyanp

The original devs can go pound sand. As with Oblivion and the Fallout games, a significant amount of the efforts of modders is being spent fixing all the broken bullshit of the stock game, not simply adding content. Among it's many uses the post process Injector can be used to get rid of the horrible green tint the entire game has, as well as adding lighting effects that should have been there to begin with.

  • @noodlezombie You are correct, the vanilla game isn't bad to look at, but features that should have been in the game to begin with have to me added by mods in ALL THEIR RECENT TITLES.

  • @poyanp lol do you have any idea how stupid you sound bitching about a graphical tweak. Overkill? Really? Hahaha

  • @poyanp I agree it's too dramatic but atleast people with horrible displays and color sight can see some change.

To "undermines all the hard work of the original devs, tweaking every color" I'd say that those colors relative values in close proximity can still stay mostly the same.

It's possible eg. the devs have their monitors calibrated to other color temperature, wide gamut backlight or compromise between looking alright on PC LCD's, possibly more saturated LCD TV's etc, plasmas etc.

  • I tried it out but found the saturation (colour intensity) overkill.

  • Comment removed

  • Too saturated.

  • @Brygelsmack it's a matter of taste.

  • @Renax111: Yes. Obviously I'm just talking for myself.

  • This doesn't work with the 4GB mod... :|

  • @yagitka

Yes it does, you need to set it from the original launcher, i mean, open original Skyrim launcher, go to graphics settings, and enable FXAA, and exit and start with 4GBSkyrim exe.

  • @yagitka Skyrims latest patch already makes the game work with the 4GB:

"Version 1.3.10.0 was released via Steam for the PC on 12/20/2011. This update was labeled as the "4GB Tuning" update that makes Skyrim large address aware (i.e. able to access up to 4GB of RAM instead of 2GB)."

    No need for mods anymore.

  • The indoor tones are pretty bad, you should work on those. Is there an outdoor-only version available?

  • is this mod compatible with Skyrim HD 2k by nebula?

  • @tuz345 Yes, this mod doesn't alter the textures at all.

  • @TheGAHman and also, because skyrim latest patch is the 4GB tuning, do we still need to have the 4 GB skyrim mod for HD skyrim and other mods like that?

  • How does this effect performance if you have a PC that a bit less than halfway between the System Requirements and the Recommended settings?

  • is the back and forth color change showing the difference between vanilla skyrim and skyrim with FXAA?

  • What settings did you use?

  • surprisingly I preffer it with no FXAA. With FXAA the game gains beauty but it loses realism. I do use FXAA in Battlefield 3 tough and it makes an incredible difference but that's because BF3'S default colors suck and FXAA makes up for that ,but with Skyrim the colors dont suck so adding FXAA is overkill. Its all about colors. Graphics are always good but it's always in lighting and colors that the game designers fuck up. Good to see that mods come out. In my opinion FXAA is not for Skyrim.

  • @94xxxBehemothxxx94

Whaou, really, don't you know that FXAA has nothing to do with colors but is about aliasing? Or is this just a troll?

  • @MrBorngamer yeah i know that but colors are still changing i know its a seperate feature.

  • Comment removed

  • @94xxxBehemothxxx94

Dude, you confound FXAA (basically antialiasing feature) and FXAA Post Process Injector (extended features).

  • @94xxxBehemothxxx94

Yeah I agree with you.. it definitely makes the graphics better but it isn't as realistic as without..

  • What setting is it ?

  • What setting did you use?

  • Is skyrim enchanced shader better or this? MAN. I have both this on. when I get out of a Dungeon, I got to wait god damn long....

  • This sucks the life out of the game - the point of the mute colours is to convey a feeling.... If you change that to an eye-popping colour scheme, more at home in a children’s TV show, then you have just removed an integral part of the feel of the game....

  • @Rafterman123 Its a mod your not forced to download it and the game looks a bit bland without it.

  • @Rafterman123

What feeling was that? Pure blandness and an overuse of gray? I'm not dissing your opinion on this at all, but the saturation has only given me more of that good ol Eldar scrolls feeling.

  • This looks great, but Norton won't let me dowload due it it's newest version. Once when I can I sure will.

  • the mod reminds me of cyrodill... full with colour and such. but i think the brown and gray colours suits skyrim more.

if they ever gonna make cyrodill in this game like they did with morrowind in oblivion, im gonna use this. but for now, i stick with the normal settings.

  • YES ! something that makes Skyrim looks more like an RPG and less like an post apocalyptic waste land from Fallout 3.

  • Comment removed

  • @filipi346 Not at all, this dont change textures or distances, just colors and atmosphere effects, if it affects performance, it should be almost unoticeable, at least for a good PC, if you still on dual core... xD..

  • how were you able to change back and forth like that?

  • I like the vibrant outdoor colors, just that indoor tones are too exaggerated, feels like Oblivion.

  • Does the mod impact performance?

  • @DeviantTroy69 Well, it shaves off about 5-10 frames for me with sharpening vs. vanilla in some areas. And in other areas there isn't a performance difference.

With no sharpening even, I lose about 3 frames in certain areas. I think it has something to do with draw distance.

  • I wish I had a rig like this

  • Too warm

  • I like that the mod is adjustable, as I agree that the graphics should still be washed out, but not to the extent that is given outright. As long as I can tone down the sepia some, I'm fine.

  • Does this still work?

On Skyrim Nexus it says it permanently disabled.

  • @neomysterio Works fine and it's still up on nexus for me.

  • @neomysterio despite of the name, FXAA is disabled but this is only the antialising mode..what you see in the video (saturation, technicolor, sharpen) is still working ;)

  • Всё правильно сделал, к чёрту консольное мыльцо :3

  • this mod makes me mad
