The film follows the story of several characters of different nationalities. All together they are trying to reach the green card for the sake of survival and remaining in America. Of them all together, the easiest way to obtain the status has a Jew. He needs only to show the proof that he is a believer and all the doors will be open in America for him. It's not up to a governmental system to relegate decency, we have to do it ourselves. We're a land of tolerance, yet we're also a land that needs to be there for each other not because we're told to, but because we want to help like decent human beings.
