  • Stage 2 is ricer talk gtfo with that slow pos

  • did i spot a bit of blue smoke? 0:13 - 0:17

  • on a cobalt ss/sc, do you have to have a stage 1 kit in order to get put in the stage 2 kit? or can you just buy and install the stage 2 kit into your stock balt?

  • now see this is a video i like to watch cause wen i watch videos on exhaust sounds ppl just start their car and just rev a lil. i wanna see someone rippin there exhaust showin wat it got. great vid man

  • hey whats the diamter of piping that exhaust comes with? is it 2.5 or 2.25. and nice vid

  • hey whats the diamter of piping that exhaust comes with? is it 2.5 or 2.25. and nice vid

  • Damn sick fucking video absolutely love the cobalt ss supercharged!

Damn I wouldn't rev my engine that high is it bad?

  • Haha good question. Don't feel bad though i was born pissin money outta my cock not all americans can be as wealthy as my black ass but same diffrence this cars still piece i mean that vtec sounds like shit man

  • Government pays for niggers to have internet now?

  • @stregaboys44 Vtec is honda motors you fucking tard.

  • vtec? dombass

  • alright, thats weird. yours is 07? is there a reason your valve cover has curved edges and mine is strait? justb noticed while watching ur vid.

  • Nice vtec.

  • vtec does that look like a fucking honda 2 u

  • Pardon my french Ecotec.

Domestics all the same plastic pieces of shit. Quit trying your cars will only end up in the same used lots as those other piece of shit cavaliers and sunfires did LOL.

  • And what do you drive?

  • Rolls royce phantom

  • If you own a Rolls Royce phantom then WTF are you doing watching a vid about a Cobalt?? What a doucebag!

  • @stregaboys44 BAHAHAHAHAHAAHAHAAHAHAHA BRO CHEVY'S DONT HAVE VTEC THAT A SUPERCHARGER MY DUDE

  • The F35 five-speed isn't as fluid or precise as others in the segment, namely the Civic Si's. The electric power steering is linear but lacks the tactility of, say, a Mazdaspeed 3's. The interior, with its hard plastic accoutrements, still screams econocar, despite new seats with UltraLux suedelike inserts. And there's some torque steer, even with GM's best trickery with electronics and suspension geometry.

  • you stupid shit! go get the newest motor trend mag and read the review you ignorant fuck. how many times i gotta burn ur ass before you understand you dont make any since at all. besides i smoked the shit out of a full bolt on si last night. aint nothing you ass..p.s. change your name lol u make no since whatsoever. idiot.

  • And the SI cost more and is slower.... hhmmm.... 2010 Cobalt vs 2010 Si. Theres abotu an aircraft carrier difference between them on the drag strip and on the track. And honestly the cobalt ss seats are more comfortable to me than the civic si's and its not not having to rev to moon to make power. I wouldnt call it gm's best. Just a working combination from GM. Seriously quit nut swinging from shit you dont even own.

  • I have the same cobalt dood!! i love it too.

  • Great videos man. hats off.

  • Great video man, sounds and looks good.

  • Wow, this video is excellent. Not that the Cobalt sounds amazing, but all the different shots are in perfect sync, .. nice job dude, this video was well made.

  • Thanks man. Check out the others.

  • theres so much shit being said about putting CAIs on cobalt SS/SC because they'll get a CEL...how come some get a CEL and some dont? can someone clear this up for me?

  • i got mine at elco too...mines metallic silver though. who did you installs?

  • I need to get me one of those ingalls torque dampers lol.....

  • haha so funny i bought my ss at elco chevy aswell

  • Thanks!

  • Sorry about this being all questions bro... but for my second car i want to get a cobalt SS And correct me if i'm wrong but i think that the SS comes stock with a "stage 1" Supercharger, and i just wanted to know how big of a HP difference it would be to get a "stage 2". And since i don't know that much about it where i could get it installed. I'd Really appriciate it bro.

  • The car doesn't come with any stage kits. You can get GM staged kits installed at a dealer. A GM Stage 2 will cost you roughly $550 at Crate Depot. Install should be around $150-200.

  • @JKennedy1612 about how much would a stage one super charge kit?

  • Does anyone know how to go about getting a Cobalt SS SC with all the stage 3 GMPP installed on it? The Cobalt gets discontinued in 2008 and I want to get one before that happens and get it with the stage 3 parts on it. Can anyone help???

  • If you got GM's stage 3 you would loose AC. Just buy a 2.9 pulley instead.

  • oh ok cool, btw how much was your cobalt when you bought it(with taxes and everything) im thinking about buying one

  • 24,000 with all the aftermarket parts + tax. Taxes are different in every area, so find out what the going rate is and multiple the amount accordingly.

  • paid a little more for mine stock with all options. had the stage 2 and same exhaust done by dealership. still hits about 29 mpg great increase in performance for about 2500.

  • uhh dude that faded blue smoke that comes out of the exhaust means that your car is burning oil and thats rele bad for the car, you should get that looked at.

  • It hasn't done that since. The car has 2,000 miles on the odometer right now. I'm sure it had something to do with it being new.

  • ok man i had a stage 2 just put on my car last week and the damn dealership didnt reflash it for the stage 2 kit and they are still telling me they did it right when my red line is till only 6500 im still pissed about it and my car acts like it has less power!!

  • You need to get that fixed...that's not the only thing that changes. You've got bigger injectors too - call that dealer!

  • like i said i have been trying to but they think they have done everything right and they throw away my paper work and they didn't give me my old parts back :'(

  • Talk to your parents about it. If not, just drive the car as it is...it will break down and then you can attack the dealer. If they give you more trouble I would contact a lawyer...

  • yeah. i was thinking either a 2002 grand prix gtp or a '05 cobalt ss supercharged. i'll probably end up with the grand prix because it's bigger and i like to haul my friends around with me.

  • if you could chose between a cobalt ss/sc or a pontiac grand prix gtp coupe supercharged. Which would you buy? i'm not sure which one i want right now.

  • Cobalt SS/SC. I don't like the looks of the new Grand Prix. If you're trying to be more practical, then by all means get the more practical car. A new Cobalt SS/SC is cheaper too.

  • is it worng that i was distracted from the car by the awsome job with edting and view transtion, lol nice car btw , you notice any gains with the gmpp Manifold

  • Ha not at all. Thanks.

I had the exhaust, stage 2, and manifold all installed at once. So I couldn't tell you if the manifold gave me noticeable gains.

  • how much did the dealer chargerd u for the intalletion?

and how much did the stage 2 cost? kus im planning on getting a ss cobalt whit the stage 2 upgrade

  • the cobalt with the GM stage 2 is about 241hp

  • That car sounds bad ass, If I get a balt, I def need to get one of these SS/SC models before they end production on them. It's vids like this that make it a little easier for me to choose between Camaro and Cobalt.

  • If you're referring to the upcoming Camaro...I'd go with it lol

  • Oh hell yeah, but I still need a car to hold me for 2 more years.

  • sounds really good.. how much did the whole thing come out to.. i mean putting the stage 2 on it.

  • How much did it cost or how of a hp gain?

  • both.. whats the horse power on it and how much did puting the stage two cost you.

  • I paid $1000 for install and parts from the dealer which is more expensive than usual because I had the stage 2 included when I purchased the car. I think it takes 3 hours to install, so multiply that by what your dealer charges per hour. It should run you close to $750 with labor and parts.
