  • wouldn't it be super cool if one day beatle bob could break dance?

  • Beatle Bob has been arrested for shoplifting numerous times. He is a fraud.

  • define fraud.

he lives his dream. It is absolutly real to him.

  • They had an article on this man in our local paper. I checked out You Tube to see what he was all about. He's having a good time and enjoying the music, without apparently hurting anybody else. As far as being honest about what he does for a living, where he lives, or anything else, I don't think that's anybody's business. He doesn't owe other people at these shows an explanation about his personal life.

  • I like the music. I think he's interesting. I'm in my 20s now and I have seen him around saint louis for the past 15 years at least.

  • This guy is kind of weird, no matter how nice he may be in person.

Read the article about him in Blender magazine and you will find out how strange this dude is. He claimed to be a social worker, but the writer confirmed that was a lie. He brought the writer to "his house" and a lady answered, whom Beatle Bob claimed was a cleaning lady hired by his uncle to clean up after a flood, but she has lived there for 37 years..

Just read the article for yourself. He's a weird character.

  • is this dude real ? wtf ?> what fuk up

  • I've been to a dozen or more gigs that BB was at and he never interfered with my view of the stage or anyone else's from what I could tell. So he's tall. What do you want, reserved seating at a rock and roll show???? Also, he's a very nice guy in person and I've never heard him talk trash about people or be negative.

  • What would you think of someone who goes around stealing the credit for volunteers? Beatle Bob tells people that he is with KDHX FM 88, community radio in St. Louis. Beatle Bob is not nor has he ever been a volunteer with KDHX. To steal credit for the work of other voluneers is just plain low. I have volunteered at KDHX for the past 11 years and I find it insulting that he would do that. I have confronted him and he is oblivious.

  • When Beatle Bob shows up at your gig, it's a supreme compliment. Rock on, Beatle Bob!!

  • Beatle Bob shows up at EVERY gig. Those of us in St. Louis know what a moron he is. He thinks this boring crap is cool, or something, and that he's part of the show. He is also totally inconsiderate and will stand right in front so you can't see to showcase his lame shit. Why he thinks he should be on a stage is beyond me.

  • Yeah, well I'm a musician, and I've seen the Bobster in action in St. Louis many times both onstage and off. He's a colorful character and a highly knowledgeable music writer, and people who are against his brand of enthusiasm are just STUFFED SHIRTS...

  • Enthusiasm is fine. It does become meaningless however when it is expressed equally at all times regardless of the venue or quality of the performance. Colorful is great, until, as with most one-trick ponies, it becomes boring. I notice that you did not mention at all his gross inconsideration for the rest of us who actually pay to watch the shows, which, as opposed to genuine enthusiasm, I AM opposed to.

  • Further reply: Bob may be a fine writer. I have no knowledge on that. Also, it's really not necessary to personally characterize someone who disagrees with you. I didn't call you anything, just disagree.

Are you in a band, or solo? Do you play out? If so I'd like to come hear you. And I'd actually PAY to get in.

  • If you object to Beatle Bob's presence in club venues and music festivals, then the solution is simple: STAY HOME.

  • That's certainly reasonable. Why didn't I think of that before? There certainly is no reason why I should be able to go out and enjoy myself. And since you didn't answer my question about a band, I assume you are a solo musician playing in your basement.

  • What an idiot.

  • no shit

  • He's conducting the band. Go Beatle Bob!

  • That sweeping motion Beatle Bob does with his right hand just kills me.
