  • thanks weard guy

  • Are you high?

  • wait the tub of the marshmallow stuff, did you say that was house primer?

  • PAUSE AT 7:41 AND SHIT YOURSELF!!!!!

  • This is a destructive instructional video.

  • Sorry but this is just all wrong. I mean everything about this is just wrong. If people are watching this for humor that's great, but if you actually want to paint a guitar please please PLEASE DO NOT DO ANYTHING THIS GUY DOES! Don't even wear the same shirt that he's wearing! Seriously this is scary advice and you will ruin the instrument and be sent to hell!

  • @mgminc09 I have to just let you know that the video does say "the Pat Yurick way" not the "right" way. I was attempting to show people how I take discarded guitars and make them into art to be hung on the walls, not necessarily to be played. Maybe I could have put a disclaimer in the beginning that that was what I was doing. What do you think?

  • I feel stoned just watching you.

  • 40 bucks for dat!!! dats a rip off

  • looks like marshmellows, tastes like nasty

  • dont brush paint your guitar. but if you do you can take brush strokes out with a hair dryer

  • orrible... i'm a italian liutaio... this is not correct... the sound of your guitar is orrible now

  • that was a total goofy experience, and very bad advice

  • i paint a guitar w/ a brush

  • Listen dude, that ain't the way to paint a guitar. And how could thousands of people be sitting on the floor in your laundry room without you knowing they were in there???

  • holy shit im painting the same guitar...weird...

  • that is not a guitar

  • ok?

  • i take it that the oil based polyurethane's stickiness doesnt last forever after a bit of use?

  • For all of you who are gonna try thy ..dont. Sand it first And use spray paint for your primer.I did this a while back and it ends up looking like shit.

Sand Smooth otherwise the paint is sonna seep into the wood and ure paint is going to show the scratches from the sand paper then primer it with grey or white Or w/e the base is going to be. then Buy a sealant of some kind so the paint does not come off

    Cheers....

  • what is up whit them small guitars!! i wouldn't be able to play one of those!!!

  • O you didnt see me? well im leaving

  • You didn't even tape it?! Do even know the names of the parts you got paint on ad should not have??

  • I have learned nothing....

  • blee boring

  • Thanks for this info. Nice. Keep the info. coming.

  • that was kind of corny

"oh, hello there i didnt see you"

  • @carbon310 cmon!! leave teh guy alone!! XD

  • it is possible to paint a guitar with a brush if the guitar is a gift for a retard or somebody you don't think much of. For a better finish spray paint is the best way to go. You could spray one in a couple of minutes this video is 8:53

    work that out

  • 2 words, CORNY INTRO

  • this was boring... zzzzz

  • Long winded!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • you dont paint guitars with a brush!

  • the title should say ; how NOT to paint a guitar.

    cmon dude use a spraycan

  • how about use a spray gun?

  • OH HEY I DIDNT SEE U THERE

  • weird i stumbled across this EXACTLY 1 year from this video :P

  • lol u don paint a guitar like that now its gonna look like shit

  • probably not a great Idea to sand that in a basement, especially since that could be lead paint considering its a cheap instrument

  • y him?? they shoulda got james or kirk.. he sucks

  • lol tastes like nasty

  • lol the very first bit was so cliche

  • "it looks like marsh mallows and tastes like nasty" !!!???

  • sanding device....nice...

  • WTF r this?????????

  • and tastes like nasty:)

  • Pat I want 2 be a comic book writer, also if you want to draw comics I will let you paint a guitar of mine

  • "oh hey, i didnt see you there"

    hahahaha best line ever

  • Lol, looks like marshmellow, tastes like nasty, lol.

  • yeah dude, it would definitly be much easier to paint an electric. you dissassemble it. instead of having excess paint on the neck. cool though

  • intro = cheeze :P

  • Perhaps I will have to do an electric guitar next... Due to the high demand. Anyone want to donate a specimen?

  • Do you know how much a guitar respray woould cost, ive got a black strat and i want it white?

  • I did it, and it cost me about 25 dollars, and it looks nice... not like a 14 year old did it. (which, im 14)

  • @headcomic No

  • Why be a comic book artist? Paint ppl's guitars! i'll u paint 1 of mine!

  • haha 5 stars can you teach how to paint a bass guitar?

  • make a vid about painting on an electric guitar is more useful and more will watch it but your vid is useful for the classic guitar

  • ya i am planning on painting an electric, so if u could do a vid on it, id appreciate it

  • thats cool you should do a video on painting an electrioc guitar you can get a fender squire for cheap and its more complicated because you have to worry about the finish that goes over the paint job. Plus electrics are more practical and someone can use it for shows which would be awesome and would display your work. good video though
