Sorry but this is just all wrong. I mean everything about this is just wrong. If people are watching this for humor that's great, but if you actually want to paint a guitar please please PLEASE DO NOT DO ANYTHING THIS GUY DOES! Don't even wear the same shirt that he's wearing! Seriously this is scary advice and you will ruin the instrument and be sent to hell!
@mgminc09 I have to just let you know that the video does say "the Pat Yurick way" not the "right" way. I was attempting to show people how I take discarded guitars and make them into art to be hung on the walls, not necessarily to be played. Maybe I could have put a disclaimer in the beginning that that was what I was doing. What do you think?
Listen dude, that ain't the way to paint a guitar. And how could thousands of people be sitting on the floor in your laundry room without you knowing they were in there???
For all of you who are gonna try thy ..dont. Sand it first And use spray paint for your primer.I did this a while back and it ends up looking like shit.
Sand Smooth otherwise the paint is sonna seep into the wood and ure paint is going to show the scratches from the sand paper then primer it with grey or white Or w/e the base is going to be. then Buy a sealant of some kind so the paint does not come off
it is possible to paint a guitar with a brush if the guitar is a gift for a retard or somebody you don't think much of. For a better finish spray paint is the best way to go. You could spray one in a couple of minutes this video is 8:53
thats cool you should do a video on painting an electrioc guitar you can get a fender squire for cheap and its more complicated because you have to worry about the finish that goes over the paint job. Plus electrics are more practical and someone can use it for shows which would be awesome and would display your work. good video though
thanks weard guy

yeah dude, it would definitly be much easier to paint an electric. you dissassemble it. instead of having excess paint on the neck. cool though
