St. Andrew (brother of St. Peter) was crucified on an "X" shaped cross when he was martyred while preaching the Gospel in what is now Russia. So the cross is certainly a legitimate Christian symbol.
Christ was not crucified on an "X" shaped cross, but ST. ANDREW WAS! St. Andrew died in Russia and all the icons of that Saint show the "X" shaped cross in the background.
well again it was our pleasure to have y'all in our home, and don't forget, (cause I haven't we have a trip to the rez to make when it warms up................lol T
It was an absolute joy having you and your brother spend the long weekend with me and the family. I apologize for the weather, but that's kinda out of my hands. Thanks for continuing to put my music out there, and I sincerely preciate you doing the interviews with me. What a hoot that was.
how was that bar-b-que y'all had in aiken, south carolina? I wish i could of been there. It would be cool to meet you, RedShirtArmy, face to face some day. You seem like a cool guy.
We had horrible weather but still got a dozen folks together. We're going to do it again when the weather is a bit better. I'm looking forward to meeting you too.
i see u understand the difference. i'm just testing u. LOL. hope u are not mad. i just don't want to subscribe to a channel that runs by someone who just follows the mass and doesn't understand the world around them. i'm for liberty too.
Haiti is a democratic country and they're the poorest in the western hemisphere. compare India to Hong Kong, India is way poorer even though they're democracy and Hong Kong is not--used to run by Queen of England and now by commie China.
i wonder why George Bush thinks democracy would solve problems in Afghanistan and Iraq? religious and ethnic tensions will not be solved by democracy anytime soon. ethnic tension broke up Yugoslavia.
people claim democratic countries would not go to war with each other, only dictatorial countries would. i beg the differ. india and pakistan are two democratic countries and they're at war. Georgia and Russia are democratic and they went to war. USA is more of republic and they had civil war.
took your advice and read part of the book. pretty good. liberty is self determination. government should stay out of someone's personal life. the majority should stay out of one's personal life.
the only business government should be in are defending the country from foreign invaders and help enforcing the laws to protect individual rights and properties.
It's a great book. Glad you read part of it at least. He makes lots of great points in it. By the way, the author has a lot of audio files free to download on the net if you go to Mises. org.
I am going to finish the book. Can't let a good book go to waste.
Deep South didn't like Lincoln once it was clear he would be the next President. South Carolina was the first state to declare secession. Does South Carolina ever had a president as a separate country? I know Texas had five presidents once it gained independence from Mexico which France and United States (much smaller of course) recognized it as a new country.
SC had a president as early as the Spring of 1776: John Rutledge. His title was 'President' and SC was the first colony to proclaim itself a State. SC had an army, government and Constitution in the Spring of 1776, before the joint Declaration of Independence.

which do u prefer freedom, democracy or liberty?

I'm anti-democracy, of course. Democracy and liberty are not compatible.

The book 'Democracy - the God that Failed' is all about how horrible democracy is. I think you already get that though. I wish more people did.
