So then how many first resurrections are there? The dead in Christ are resurrected in 1 Thess. 4:16, Then in Rev. 20:5 we have the first resurrection,...At the end, after the trib. Where is the scriptural backing for a resurrection before the first resurrection?

But Jesus said in Matthew 24, "AFTER the tribulation of those days, . the angels will gather the elect of God together from the 4 winds and from one end of heaven to the other. Also, in Acts 3, Peter said that Jesus must remain in heaven until God restores all things. The tribulation is NOT restoration. Restoring comes AFTER the tribulation.

I still need to listen to the rest, but I thought the only thing secret about the rapture was WHEN it occurs, because EVERY EYE shall see when it does occur.

Praise the LORD!!!! I have tried to find a church where they believe in T.U.L.I.P. and the pre-trib rapture. I was beginning to have an Elijah complex, thinking I was the only one. Of course I knew there must be one ( a remnant that God kept for Himself) I just didn't' know of one. So000 refreshing and comforting. Alleluia!!!!

The great confusion is that the great tribulation is before the cosmic signs in the sun, moon and stars, and the day of the Lord is after the cosmic signs.

Joel 2:31

The sun shall be turned into darkness, and the moon into blood, BEFORE the great and the terrible day of the LORD come.

Why does the book of Revelation tell us " for the elects sakes those days will be shortened" The the elect were raptured who are the days being shortened for? Why are we told that those who endure till the end will be called great in the kingdom? Jesus reigns on earth for 1000years, who is He reigning over? If everyone who belongs to Him are in heaven , why does He reign on the earth?Are we going to heaven then then coming back to earth?Really ,pre-tibmakes no sense, except if it is a deception.

You cannot understand the Revelation without understanding the Fall Feasts of the Lord. Also, the thief in the night IS related to the rapture because those churches who are NOT Watching will be caught off guard like a theif in the night (a reference to the Temple guards who would catch the priests sleeping who were supposed to WATCH the eternal flame in the Temple, as they were to Watch it at all times). We threw away all His Teachings (Torah is teaching). Return to His Ways. Post-Trib rapture

The revelation of the Rapture wasnt given in Matt 24; 29-31 that was given to JEWS and JEWS ONLY Gentiles were considered dogs Jesus Himself called us DOGs only until Paul did we gentiles have a chance to get saved HELLO WAKE up!!!!!!!!! This was a OK teaching but he's missing it on the FACT that the Bible Says GOD Will Bring with Him the saints that have died in previous years THE SAINTS WHO HAVE DIED ARE WITH JESUS RIGHT NOW ALIVE AND WELL For God is a God of the LIVING

I can't be dogmatic on the time of the rapture,but many who weren't Jews were saved in the O.T.,Noah,Enoch,Abraham,Adam ,Eve,and I'm sure many,many more.We who have been converted to Christianity were chosen for salvation before time began.Abraham saw Jesus' day and was glad,so there is a way that God has made so even people in the O.T.could accept Jesus.What's impossible with man is certainly possible with God.

I think what your saying is true..all I'm saying is we are not appointed unto wrath, everything points to serious trouble in the near future (next 4 months) LOT was saved from the fire, Noah was saved from the flood. In both examples think of of being alive back then, living to see all those people Die terrible, well the bible says 50% of eaths POPULAtion is soon going to Die, Jesus said pray that you may be accounted worthy to escape all that is coming, remember the parable of the 10 virgens

Many people,including Christians don't like to hear this THOUGH, because it means that they didn't have one thing to do with their salvation,and man hates to not have control of his destiny.God's sovereignty and Him choosing us just makes salvation that much more precious.I tell folks ,either salvation is 100% the work of God or it's man's accomplishment.

Brother,one thing that convinced me of God's soverienty was watching videos made by ex Muslims.They hated Christians just because the Koran said to, and most had never even read a Bible.Then Jesus would visit them in dreams or they had visions of Jesus.He would quote scripture to them and tell them that He was Jesus,only after getting and reading a Bible would they find the words He said to them was scripture,then they repented and believed.

I'm convinced that this is how Jesus saves those who have never heard of Him or the gospel.Since He is the one who chose His sheep,He'll certainly make sure that they get coverted,even if He is the one who goes to them personally,just like He went to the apostle Paul.

The timetable consists of 7 years of tribulation, or testing of the church, then 1 year of wrath on earth and marriage supper in heaven, for a total of 8 years.

Daniels 70th week (7 days) are the 7 years of tribulation.

The Great (marriage) and Terrible (wrath) Day of the Lord is the 8th year, Isa 63:4, Isa 34:8

Rapture occurs at the beginning of the Day of the Lord, after the tribulation, Matt 24:15-31.

The 2nd coming is at the end of the Day of the Lord.

1 Thessalonians 4:16-17: For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first: Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together...

Matthew 24:29-31 speaks of these events except that they are proceeded by "IMMEDIATELY AFTER THE TRIBULATION OF THOSE DAYS".

1 Corinthians 15:52 speaks of all this occurring at the LAST TRUMP, not the first.

The pretrib rapture is a dangerous doctrine. It is accepted by many as is the false prosperity gospel. (God would never have His children suffer) The disciples were killed for their devotion to the TRUE gospel, yet for some reason Christians in America will be raptured before persecution comes. I wonder if the Christians in China or the Middle East are TRUSTING in the rapture before they are killed (martyred) for their Christian witness? ----- I am guessing not.

There is no rapture. When the Lord pulls his spirit, i.e. His bride, i.e. His church from this world, it is all over. Your little pet theories contradict the character of God, especially as it pertains to the saving of His church.

Many of us know this Jim McClarty guy. He is marching all of you down a very dangerous road. Your focus seems to be knowledge, for the sake of pride, yet you're missing life, which is the person of Jesus Christ.

Yes, you are correct. There is absolutely no such teaching in the Word of God concerning a pretribulation rapture. The Church of Christ will suffer in this world.
