I believe it was Industrial Light and Magic, which is the division of Lucasfilm that produces special and visual effects.

@abehammy It was ILM, I read about it on a wiki that revolves around opening/closing logos.
it was also stated on ILMFan as well.

@MvitoC It was acquired by AMC Theatres in 2000 shortly before Garry Marshall worked on The Princess Diaries in 2001.
