  • You do all that and your workers get less than ten an hour? ... I hate greed.

  • Actually, a song that says "People will steal from their mother" "People will rob their own brother", perhaps this is not exactly the right song?

The song is not about making money, it is about the drug trade and money, listen carefully.

  • Yes, remove the audio track from both one and 2.

Not only does this prevent me from watching 2, it does NOTHING for 1.

    Thank you.

  • @Arabhacks keep it to yourself nobody cares what you think

  • muy linda la maquina

  • DIY my ass... :D

  • What flavor are those Twizzlers??

  • thumbs up if Phallic Symbols at Denver International Airport brought you here!

  • Some videos are stolen and re-re compressed.

    Stupid idiot.

  • Where is the Bloody Money??

  • Comment removed

  • how come when I played this my girlfriend thought I was watching porn?

  • I only clicked on this video because I read that as Hobo Machines - The Money Machines

  • beautiful!

  • Thanks! I have always wondered how they make these iron gate fittings.

  • Cool machine, very ingenious. It never fails to amaze me how any video, no matter what can produce bizarre vitriol from some people.

  • si eso no queda bien con las herramientas que tenes.....prende fuego todo y tomatelas.....

  • IT"S not about MONEY it's about..... Nope almost had me there!....Never argue with IDIOTS! If you don't see whats wrong here I cant tell you!

  • @MotoScootMech

well no, because it is not nice, its as i said cheap machined ugly crap.. and i do not agree with your ultra liberal business philosophy either, faster and cheaper is far from always better, in my opinion its almost allways worse, and here is another brilliant example..

  • shame its all so ugly. real blacksmithing have soul and live, this is lifeless machined crap.

  • @jljsmed1 Look there's a place for real blacksmithing and a place for more technologically advanced and efficient metalworking. You may not like what you see here, but it allows people to buy something nice at a fraction of the cost. Key to manufacturing (and all business): better, faster, cheaper.

  • what this is called 0:05 to 0:17?

  • Comment removed

  • excellent vid to show what the piece being worked on can become. ty for vid

  • You can do all these by hand. Blacksmithing isn't that hard. Check out Blacksmith's Journal for stepbystep examples. A few jigs and you could produce a lot for less "money".

  • w3aooooooooooo que maravilla estas si som verdares maquinas

  • never seen a metal that can bend like that, is it some kind of solder?

  • @ddguydd1 lol! It's steel, dude! All it takes is enough force.

  • Another awesome tool I can't afford.

  • Was the steel heated before it went into the machine?

  • My parents went in my room at 1:35 and it was very embarrassing ^^

  • WHY WOULD I WANT TO EMBOSS MY FEET?

  • @CADtekk or it helps a floundering business to stay afloat, preserving jobs for all the employees of the company while improving their productivity, allowing them to expand. Just saying.

  • God, I just had a mental picture of sticking my peni* into one of those torque machine. ARRRGH!!

  • wow the torque needed for that twisting machine must be enormous

  • @Qasim909X It is, but I'd be more impressed if I didn't work in a place that had a 30 foot tall forge press that presses with 5500 tons of force. It's pretty awesome.

  • HORRAY FOR TECHNOLOGY :D

  • Very cool, seems like you could use mostly unskilled labor for a pretty complicated job with these machines.

  • I was never interested in the design, but watching this seems kind of cool.

  • get rid of this one machine and thats probly another 10 jobs for american citizens machines like this are easy to use and usefull but they only add to the depression and job loss of america almost like sending jobs overseas

  • @welder396 problem is, companies, want cheap labour and big profit, and people want consistency and "quality" a person can not consistently make the same thing over and over again exactly the same or that quickly

  • @tdragon360 understandable i was just stating a point

  • I always wondered how they did some of that stuff, thanx for posting.

Although I cant believe they work the steel cold in most of those cases damn that would take some grunt

  • very cool!

  • This is awesome !

  • or you could do it properly with a forge, anvil, hammer and vice. Oh yes, and some skill.

  • If you like this video be sure to check out our newest one in HD, Hebo Machines: The Money Machine 2. Thanks for all the comments.

  • @StratfordGates I'd love to watch the Money Machine 2, but it's blocked in my country because it contains content from EMI. :(

  • @zapwow Thanks for the info. I re-uploaded the video. Please try again.

  • @StratfordGates Your new video has been blocked due to copyright from EMI - maybe you should reupload with different music...

  • I want one of these so I can make fences.

  • How can you not like a machine that bends and embosses steel !

  • Doens't matter if they're made by machine, those fences are beautiful!

  • BITE MY SHINY METAL ASS

  • Awesome work!

I've always wanted to do metal work and weld, but I took the graphic design path instead.

  • This is also known as the prototype Bender Unit from Futurama

  • These are some awesome machines.

  • lol i do that shit with my bare hands

  • I used to admire 'hand forged fences' .

    not any more.

  • HOLY CRAP

Could you tell me how bhp the machine that twists the rods has?

    Thanks :)

  • gostei.gostaria de adiquirir uma maquina desa

  • how much does it costs?

  • "Lighter fluid?? Real men start fires by rubbing sticks together!"

  • @WuFFYWuLF DAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAM!!! You told him lol

  • Even after approx 17.476 years as a milling CNC setter, I still love to watch the metal being worked. :¬)

  • Pay a guy $10/hour to do any labor job is criminal here in the U.S. with our cost of living.

Soon there will be no more middle class.

  • @zapwatt oh but in vietnam, that is my dream...i'm a CAD modeler, my job is drawing 3D a block of auto-transmission for NISSAN corp....

  • Awesome machines, they really are. But they're too perfect and it misses all the textures and hammer marks that show the love that goes in to making something beautiful from steel. Fortunately that is something machines will never emulate. Don't fear blacksmiths, your market has been reduced in size, but the customers you want, the ones with taste and the appreciation for skill, the ones in it for the quality and character will always be there.

  • @tomr200199 Giving them textures and random hammer marks could be emulated if anyone actually wanted that.

  • Nice Machines, Is it cheaper than ordering pieces from someone that imports them from china?

  • Cool Vid, Thanks.

  • @jackrey22 Yeah, you are right, all the people that drive cars dont have horse riding skills... Or because you use a computer to type, you dont have penmanship skills.

  • @StratfordGates lol :P

  • @StratfordGates Like a CNC mill. I'd love to see someone just up and use a 3-axis mill on the first try.

  • @jackrey22 True! But don't forget, it's also the: "Getting us out of middle ages and into modern" machine, "Increase production" machine, "economic boost" machine, "increase production" machine, "lower products cost" machine, "decrease workers time" machine, oh and not to forget the all scary: "take away some workers jobs" machine :P, right?

Progress is what our world needs, and I actually think that in industry that process is already way too slow, to criticize already gained achievements.

  • @jackrey22 the demand for stuff like this is to big to do whit hand and a hammer...

  • Lyrics from the tune: "People will steal from their mothers. People will rob their own brothers." Is this really the kind of song you want this product to be associated with? Wow.

  • @hoppes9 man its a dog eat dog life here on this earth till that changes people aren't gonna change plain and simple

  • brilliant,,,,, now do it all by hand

  • mmmmh....very artistic, well done machine, you put a lot of feeling and passion to their work ¿-.-?

man this sucks, I prefer my forge.

  • Those machines tremble when Chuck Norris enters the room.

  • Wow! Impressive!

  • chuck norris made those machines

  • how much that machine and details pls?

  • I think it's awesome to see how fenceparts are being made. Good video!

  • The thing twist the bar.. insane forces involved.

  • By the by, machinists turn and mill, among other things (once in a while we'll pick up a file), these chaps are machine operators.

  • Funnily enough, the word forge has not a lot to do with the fire. Otherwise we could not cold forge, could we? Primarily, the word means to create something. If you could hammer the iron until it was red (I've heard big lads boast they could, I'd like to see it) does that get you chucked out of the inner circle of Luddite Smiths or are you then the only true smith? Do I have to stop flying for a living because human powered flight is possible and I use something with engines?

  • @schlusselmensch no, you're missing the point, the point is that these guys use the word "blacksmith" to describe themselves, and that's not what they are, blacksmiths primarily use hand tools, machinists and machine operators use primarily power tools. The rant I have going is that they're assigning the wrong name to themselves Ia'm trying to correct them. I would have absolutely no problem if they called themselves by their proper names, but they're giving themselves the wrong type of credit.

  • @MrThahey How did it become your responsibility to tell anyone what they call themselves? You may call yourself "Protector of All Ancient Trades", but everyone else just calls you "Egotistical Douchebag". See how that works?

  • @GeorgiaBoi70 I'm a blacksmith and I'm absolutly an egotistical douchebag LOL I actually take offence from many blacksmiths that sneer when I tell them how I use modern machines to make my ironwork. if a person truly understands what the blacksmith used to be they would quickly understand that the blacksmith of old would have used any modern piece of equiptment he could get his hands on, the blacksmith of old was a fabricator and was entirely profit driven, the artist-blacksmith did not exist.

  • @schlusselmensch, "...forge has NOT A LOT to do with the fire", so it does have to do with fire. Also forging is usually considered to be done HOT. And yes it is possible to make iron red hitting it, but that won't be good for your anvil. It also doesn't kick you out of "the club" if you can't. And seriously sir, there is a HUGE a** diffrence between flying, forging and machining, what these guys are, machinists. Or can't you see that at all....?

  • this is power

  • nice i want one. would make life so much easer an faster. it is a smiths tool ya still need the knoledge to use it.

  • you're not blacksmiths, you're machinists; quit calling yourselves blacksmiths and use the proper name.

  • @MrThahey Don't be silly. The moment you light the coke and pick up a hammer you're using tools. Unless you're bending iron with your arms and teeth you need to close that thing that proves you're a twit. I imagine you smelt your own ore as well?

  • @schlusselmensch as a matter of fact, I smelt ore in what's called a bloomery. There's a difference between a blacksmith (who does use tools, but very few power tools) and a machinist who relies almost entirely on power tools.

  • @schlusselmensch, You don't be silly. I'm a blacksmith and the tools I use are nothing like what they use, however I do admit I cheat by using an Angele Germany forge I bought because of lack of space. Still these guys are NOT blacksmiths, I bet they can't even really forge a nail in 2 heats without cheating. And what MrThahey is, is called a smelter, we do good business in iron.

  • @TechnicusJoe and MrThahey I'm going to go with bollocks as my reply. I've never heard of the dreaded Brotherhood of Metal Whacker's prohibition of power tools.

Some smiths need to feed a family. And I bet these chaps can forge a nail in no heats !

  • @schlusselmensch, like I said, my friend, these guys aren't blacksmiths, and like you said they can without heats, so you agree that they aren't blacksmiths, but MACHINISTS. A blacksmith uses a forge and they again don't use one.

  • @schlusselmensch if by metal whackers, you mean blacksmiths (the ORIGINAL metal workers), it is entirely up to the individual which tools he/she uses, however, there is a point at which you stop being a traditional blacksmith, and start being a machinist.

as for making a nail, that wouldn't be forging, that would be making cheap crappy wire nails which are prone to bending and rusting.

  • @MrThahey I've been doing ornamental ironwork forging and welding etc. for twenty years, my shop is a blacksmith shop not a machine shop and I forge some in the fire but primarily use modern equipment so I'm a machinist? I know many machinists and I know very little of their world.......I can not even use a milling machine without instruction maybe a little crude lathe work, but that's it. I'm no machinist.

  • @modernblacksmith you can't work a lathe or a milling machine yet you know how to comment under you tube videos....

  • @92redzer ouch

  • @92redzer

in mechanical engineering we are using the endmill and lathe proficiently, second semester we are using CNC programming. if this guy can not use those pieces of equipment he should not even be a janator.

  • @TAPriceCTR 90% of mechanical engineers will end up asking a machinist how they should do something or what material to make a part out of engineers might have the book smarts but they still will be asking a machinist sometime or another and im planning to do mech engineering also but i decided to do machining and CNC prog in a tech school first then when i go into the engineering school i will have a better understanding than most when it comes to that point its the best way to to start out

  • @damion223

that is because communication is important. my materials science teacher was telling me about a material which on paper looked great, but that the machinists HATED. I am not book smart to any degree, as an ADHDer I prefer to do the project myself from start to finish. and intend to eventualy retire as a freelance inventor who does his own machining in his own shop.... I have really fallen in love with the CNC end mill. but first stage is to get my degree then a job involving it.

  • @schlusselmensch, And about feeding your family, you need to work to feed them. I don't see these guys "work". But I see the machines doing the work, which again makes them machinists.

  • 1:02 like is was butter, require some force for that..

  • it sure makes maoney...a lot of creativity comes with a lot of MONEY.:)

  • Very fascinating machining =)

  • Bender from Futurama ? sort of...

  • @macdeath69 lol

  • look olso for maderokar nettenkar or mattenkar

  • i like moneey we should hang out

  • o shit great machine coool

  • machine > blacksmith. sad but true.

  • im in love, great vid

  • thats awsome...i want one

  • is this one machine?

  • @madnessdexter In this video there is 3 different machines, along with some attachments. There are lots of options for the machines, this is just a small snapshot of what Hebo Germany offers. If you would like to contact us, we can send you a full catalog of all there offerings. 503-722-7700. Thanks for your interest.

  • @StratfordGates Their, not there.

  • that's steel not wrought iron. Learn the difference

  • man imagine if you put you arms and legs in that twisting machine imagine how cool you would like with twisty arms en legs and maybe even you member LOL

  • It's videos like this that make me want to get into the metalworks industry...so cool.

  • How are you a blacksmith if you use this machine? Please look up the definition of blacksmith and get back to me. What is an "elite" blacksmith as far as I know there is no governing body ranking blacksmiths in the US. OSHA would define a person using this machine as a machine operator.

  • @southshoersmith I looked up the definition of Idiot in the dictionary. I found your name and picture.

  • @shadowblack1987 What a thoughtful comment

  • Machines are our friends. power hammers and benders are machines. even a crow bar is a simple machine.

  • man .........I want all of those!

  • The blacksmith's forge was a new invention once.

  • What I don't really like about these machines is that they commodify ironwork. No shop is better than another. To compete in the market for ironwork you need one of these machines. These machines make everything look the same. So now you have a bunch of cookie cutter railings and gates everywhere. So people start to think this is what ironwork should look like. A guy who is a real blacksmith who can do all sorts of work now has trouble eating he is literally punished for his skill.

  • I agree with some of what you say here; however i have to say that machines are only tools if you put very creative people behind them you will get very creative results. I think the problem with the lack of creativity (cookie cutter stuff everywhere) is money. When people just focus on making maximum profit they bypass the creative process and mimic whatever is standard issue. less effort = more money and unfortunately that is the mentality shared by most businesses today.

  • A creative person would quickly get bored running a machine like that. Furthermore a die can only make one shape and one shape only. A blacksmith working at a forge is only limited by their skill and imagination. With this machine you can only make the things you have the tooling to make then weld them together. Its cut and paste work from a limited pallet.

  • @southshoersmith I call that the cookie cutter prinicpal

  • that´s how our society works

  • Had early blacksmiths had the technology to forge steel this way (using machines) dont you think they would have? they only used a hammer and anvil because that was the extent of technology. Im sure if they had access to a power hammer or a Hebo machine they would have jumped on the opportunity. as far as putting people out of business all i can say is that this is a free market, competition and innovation are key being a blacksmith myself i am in no way offended or threatened by these machines.

  • I wonder how many fences they had to make to pay of those machines before they can start making profits.

  • I dont worry, these machines are good if you need a long fence, but many good blacksmiths (for example Claudio Bottero) make very original fences wich don't have any pf the traditional elements and can't be made with this machine.

  • WOW i am truly awestruck!

I could earn thousands with a machine like that in my garden shed.

  • But you have sell your house and garden plus going

in debt to pay for one of these machines. Where would you pout the machine then?

  • @HomoGnosticus true mate true! but hey we can all have our dreams cant we lol.

Id sell the wife but i dont think i would be able to afford the plug that comes with the machine lol

  • @thanxx

good idea selling the wife, it´s simply too much of a cost factor to maintain a woman, that´s why guys like us never make it far in great business, lol

You could try to buy the machine then and maybe they´d offer you a beneficial leasing plan for the plug, lolz

  • con que con esas maquinas se hacen las rejas muy interesante 5/5

  • I used to work for The Gate & Railing company ltd. Plymouth uk. A small company none the less but I helped do the scroll work by hand using templates and good old fashioned muscle.

All the fancy bits were bought in like the twisted wire bits to be welded together where needed, it used to leave me in awe and wonder seeing the steel coming on the lorry thinking what kinda machines must be used to make such fancy shapes.

  • thanks to this vid I know from what song is the Toejam & Earl theme song

  • No, these machines are putting blacksmiths out of business because nobody is going to care these days if something is handmade or made on a machines. And yes what you call "elite" blacksmiths are probably the ones making the most money. Not the most skill.

  • There is art and there is practicality. In the past, people bought hand made because that was the only way the product could be made.

If I were a blacksmith I'd probably want to own one of these machines. Just like a sculpturer might still own molds.

  • Dear YouTube, How come the Featured Videos always have TV style music and too many times no narration? 1 Star It's a commercial!

  • jak bym mafamet widzial...

  • off with the persons head who created machines, cars the computer. we should all be still in the dark ages screw modern society

  • dont worry, we will be.

  • @IRONMAIDENFAN2006 An yet ironically you used a computer to write such a comment. Well done you, Fighting the Cause!

What do you consider the Dark ages? 1500's *Tudor's* before america was discovered? Late 18th century *beginnings of the industrial revolution* How far back do you wish to go?

With any luck we will be some where back in similar times. (crosses fingers for post-apocalyptic event)

Only problem is people will have too much knowledge compared to those people of earlier times.

  • I just wanted to quickly address a few of the below comments from the people who feel threatened by the machines. I am not sure if everybody is aware of this or not, but the US went through an Industrial Revolution some time ago. These are tools designed by blacksmiths for the blacksmith and people working in the ornamental iron industry. These machines will help make you more efficient and profitable.

  • These machines, like all machines, have a place in the production of goods. These machines produce objects that are nice looking and functional. However, they are not art. If you want art, you need an artisan or an artist and the work from that hand will be easily distinguished from mass production. I fail to see how mass production competes with the blacksmith artisan as the hammer imperfections are what gives the art its signature. It's all good.

  • Those are some cool tools. I wish I knew how to do iron work.

  • @StratfordGates

People want to live in a dream land, where things are made by magic,or by good old sweat.Unfortunately for them this is the real world where people/company's have to make money !!. I can guarantee if a smith had to make all of these items that were demonstrated in the video it would cost a damm fortune.

    Nice video Thanks for sharing,

    Rauschcastings

I will bet that the co. owner once did things the old way,but made enough $ so he could afford the machine.

  • You would be surprised if I were to list some of the elite blacksmiths here in the US that own and utilize these machines in their business. Just so you know, we are not a company just trying to sell machines. We are actually fabricators ourselves and we have been making a very good profit off of these machines for over 10 year now. We help promote these machines because these machines have really transformed our business and taken it to the next level.

  • @StratfordGates yeah all good and well but how much weaker is the material lol,, FACT or are you going to tell me metal is stronger after being turned or bent at low temps ?

  • @ginder66 Yes ginder66, iron based metals becomes stronger (harder, stiffer) when deformed at low temps, the technical term for this process is "cold working".

  • @ginder66 Bend a paperclip back and forth ... know how it gets stiffer as you bend it before it breaks? ... same idea (and if you think it's because of the heat take 20 min and SLOWLY bend it)

  • If you get your significance out of being an artist and beating on metal, these machines are probably not for you. We get our significance out of making a profit and supporting our families.

These machines are not putting blacksmiths out of business, on the contrary these are helping blacksmiths be more efficient and profitable.

  • You are no longer a blacksmith you are a machine operator. If you use one of these machines instead of a forge. Also a power hammer can be faster for many operations and much cheaper to buy.

  • Ahh these machines are the reason why modern "look liked forged" shit looks like crap

  • Isn't such extrem cold work bad for steel? I think it makes it very fragile, destroy the toughness .

  • It depends on the as-received condition and composition of the steel. Some steel grades can be reduced up to 90% of their original volume. Also, the steel in the video was hot rolled (mill scale was flaking off) which is more ductile.

  • one word:

    HACKsmith

  • the price of chinese and african pre-made forgings is really screwing over the true blacksmith/artisan blacksmith who might eat a little more if he wasn't getting decimated by mass production technics and cheating. nice bit of machining though, but you can keep it....the real stuff is easily identifiable though, and anyone with real taste and distinction should be able to see that.....regards.

  • Cheating? It's a free market so compete or die trying.

  • your not wrong there, im a blacksmith myself n stuff like this is low quality but because general public dont know the differance between good n bad this kinda stuff can put blacksmiths out of busness

  • I want to ask if i can have the website to see more models and the list of prices and to see if it can be shipped or not...

  • I want to ask if i can have the website to see more things and prices and if it can be shipped or not
