Apparently, according to literally like everybody, Huntsman spiders are absolutely harmless towards humans, I've never seen one in my house (in the US) but their venom does not affect us, and IF they work up enough courage to actually bite you, I hear its hardly painful. As far as I know if you have them around your house it's probably a good thing, seeing as they attack the more dangerous ones.

In any case, it's quite rare that a huntsman would actually bite a human. The females tend to be aggressive when defending their young, but that's just about it. In Australia, you're more likely to be bitten by hundreds of other bugs that the continent seems to be full of. The huntsman isn't even venomous.
