I question Tim Carter about the guns. Look up Bo Gritz he was the Green Beret head man highly decorated vet who lead his berets at CIA order to hunt down the people in the jungle who fled. @ltuomela - that's so easy to say. But a huge percentage of the people there were elderly women and children and the mothers of the children. There were men, but they were a minority and some of them of course were guards. In that type of situation, you're going to be focused on your children, not on being a hero.

I have to watch programs about Jonestown, and cults like them, when my husband isn't around, jnequest99. I think that it was as heavily impressed on his teen aged mind as it was on yours, and it eats him up inside to be reminded.
