You still have much 2 learn. Everyone will experience god (the Self, collective consciousness, the one, the source, etc) in their own unique way. The ego makes it difficult 4 u 2 see clearly. Ego likes 2 judge. Ego is everything physical, yet ego is a necessary tool in this learning experience we're all part of.

In order to be truly scientific, this study should also interview people from different cultures, different religions and different countries in order to see if the experiences change. Being limited to one language and culture puts doubt into the accuracy of the testimonies which could be the result of having foreknowledge and expectation.

If these people had died and then had been revived, wouldn't that be like cheating God. Some dude said that you can only die once and he got that from the Bible, if that really is true but unless if you had been dead and revived for a reason then I don't know, like to preach the word... But eh.

It is true what he says but the game is not a nice game. Death, torture, slavery, fear, selfishness, manipulation, war, extortion, are just some aspects of what this "game" is about. Seriously, playing this game....can really suck. It's disheartening, and the HEART is what is most important to our happiness.

It's a mean game, but you can change the rules until finaly you stop playing.

There is a real danger in thinking that death will bring peace. It is not through death but through Life that Peace is obtained. Death accomplishes nothing for death really is nothing. It is in Life that all things are accomplished. Life is Truth and Truth is Life.

@k0smon I wish it was so simple but it's not that way. Dying accomplishes nothing. Death is nothing. How can it accomplish anything? Death is but the end of one dream and the start of the next. yet, it's still all just a dream. Death is not the end of dreams for death is the theme of the dream. The trick is to wake up before dying. Meditation, yoga, etc are the keys to waking up. Do not rely on death for anything! My method is the book A Course In Miracles, but it is not the only way.

@1971SuperLead Just as you spent 9 mos. in your mama's womb and then were born, just so your spirit spends years in this earth space suit and is born when your body dies. I don't know where the 'dream' philosophy originated, but one famous philosopher said that we should become fully awake before we die. It is true that in the ultimate reality there is no death, but in this current reality, there is. Pinch yourself - if it hurts, then it is not a dream.

The idea that pain from a pinch means you are not dreaming is ridiculous. You should know that dreams include pain.

In Genesis, Adam falls asleep, and nowhere in the bible does it mention that Adam awoke from his snooze. That's one hint that this world is a dream. Buddhism too hints to the idea that this world is but a dream. In Quantum mechanics scientists are witnessing electrons behave in different ways according to how they are being observed. There's another hint.

The book A Course In Miracles is a huge clue to this world being a dream...a collective dream.

Say what you like about this but for me this is the most profound evidence of consciousness after life, especially the accounts from children and blind people, cross's all cultures and they all come back with a the same message and that message is love.

The sense of well-being, relaxation, calmness, realization of my body and who I am, the feeling of love and connectedness to the global consciousness.

Im going to be straight forward, if you start meditating which leads to astral travel you have to be mentally ready to connect to a energy you may have never felt, see the consciouness of life itself, see peoples auras up to 20 minutes after coming out of meditation. I spent some HOURS strolling around ... floating sortof... INSDE an infinite "thing" ... OUTSIDE of everything, watching an unsee_able creator... MAKING sperical worlds... (that I could "reach" around & grab unseen handles. - to close them into tiny "locked" spheres.. that I put on a shelf I was told .. they are the PAST worlds.. & they had dragons, wars, "immortal" yet (fatally) wounded & dying GODS

& ONE- a NEW WORLD

Hours after I came "out" of the operating room... and recovered to conciousness - from the anesthesia... the surgeon came to me... & showed me - the pin...

There - in the LAST few munted threads... was 1millimetre of BONE...

& he asked me - HOW THE HELL had I known - as they didn't.

Another time.. yes - suppoedly FULLY under anethesia... I again yelled out - but an instruction .. as I was actually "looking inide a bone in my leg... & saw the inserted shaft of a surgical "tensioning" tractionpin_spike that had centre fitted screw_threads... for holding it INSIDE the leg bone... but it was "semi_stripped & NOT allowing the pin to be removed... so I instructed the surgion - to SIMPLY "pull" it out... as it ONLY had one "or two threads holding & I wanted it OUT.

I have always been spiritual, I have had this same experience but, when your birthed your going down the tunnel and into the light at the end.

When you leave the same thing, and the cycle starts over, now this is where it happens, all of your experiences are taken, your reinserted back here again.

Now if the white light is sooo good then it will be there always, I say don't let anything touch you, and shoot past all of it, seek the real way out from there, don't be fooled again.

When I meditate, I focus on expanding my white light to cover my room and then expand it to cover my home, state, planet, galaxy and universe.

As a child, yes all the time here as well. As I grew older I grew more fearless... and the most profound experience was when I performed a song I wrote for my grandfather at his memorial. I performed it for a hall full of masons... as my grandfather was a mason... I hovered above myself as I somehow managed to sing and play guitar to a crowded room of masons and strangers. I even managed to smile to my family members who were in mourning. When I returned, i had uncontrollable shakes.

I'm a musician, too. When I sued to play lead and rhythm guitar in several hard rock bands, I used to "get in the zone" while performing. It's hard to explain but it was almost like an alter ego, if that makes any sense. It sounds like a different experience than what you had.

Can you have an OBE at will?

Hey. I cannot say that ive ever recalled my "OBE", even though ive heard our dreamstate is "OBE"'s. I did have an experience meditating where that blue orb/tunnel experience encompassed me. The feeling was something i will never forget. I want to be able to have this light over me for life, in full form.

I'm sure you can have astral projection/OBE all the time - isn't that how atlantis possibly was in many ways "advanced". Telepathy would greatly help us.

I have never tried to leave my body at will, but I suspect we all do in our dreams. I've wished for many years to be able to create the zone on stage... i always get sooo nervous cause i'm so in tune with the audience.

OBE and Astral Projection seem to go hand in hand, (the same) and I know that shamans really focused a lot of time and medicine into understanding how to achieve this state of consciousness. I've not tried to dabble with it personally cause I am so involved in other things.

I've tried having an OBE but have been unsuccessful in doing so. A friend of mine used to have them naturally when she was a child, only to have this ability suppressed by peers who teased her about them. Recently, she starting having them again. I'm so glad for her!!! It must be an amazing experience! Any tips on having them???
