My 4 year old sister knows how to turn on the computer, log on, open the start menu, go to all programs, and start up her games. PCs are not hard to use, they just take some practice.
ok im not trying to bash pc or back up mac but i think its kinda stupid when she put a transistions and said now im going to add some music, but i know you can just drag the music to the timeline but im just saying
if it makes you feel any better, they're printed alllllllllll the way out in China (Now, I can understand your frustration if she did this on a yate loon disk or a vertabim...) and cost 20 cents each to purchase.
Hell, I bought 400 blank DVDs at a closing circuit city, all generic brand (but they all work)
i should start stapling them to walls and make the walls look pretty.
Well i had a laptop when i was seven and my cousin who is 8 has the exact same laptop as her (HP With XP Media Center Edition) and he also has mobile broadband to him self :S
Why does she have purble heart things on there? When she closes the lid, it will damage the screen. Obviously this is not a real worl video-scripted the WHOLE way.
I am a happy Mac user, but I also work with PC at work and I happen to like both platforms. I think its high time Microsoft began to take some pride in their system and I think they deserve it.
I eagerly await the releases of both MacOS X Snow Leopard 10.6 and Microsoft Windows 7 this autumn, and I cannot but feel that we the consumer win either way.
Windows is extremely easy to use. I know in the early stages, the mac commercials would emphasize how macs were much easier to use. But since windows, PCs have been equally simple. I have never had the windows freezing issues because I adequately maintain my hardware and avoid viruses. I also dual boot with linux since it is a better programming environment than windows.
OSX is very great and more maintenance free but anyone can learn to properly maintain windows and their PCs.
Okay, I can understand this quote. So, why even bring up that the words are archaic? If the person is getting his point across, just focus on the point and argue it. Don't try to belittle them by talking about the way they are speaking.
Which words were archaic? I've read the argument and can't see one word that I haven't seen in readings and such. These words haven't disappeared; they have been lost to the general public. I like hearing words that aren't often used in conversation.
Hmm it is a unique person who can state something with such certainty, so absolutely assured that they are correct, that they can proclaim it openly in such an arrogant fashion and try to use it as a condescending remark. I also find it quite funny that anyone who actually uses unique and descriptive words instead of simple conversational words is always accused of using a thesaurus or dictionary. Does it ever occur to anyone that the person using the words actually knows how to use them?
Hey, this is a video about a little girl making a sideshow on a Windows PC. Nowhere in that video did it say "All delusional Mac fanboys please throw some propaganda around" okay?
Its cute that you all need to justify your purchase THIS badly, but come on, don't you guys have something better to do?
Of course, I was talking about mac books in all of my comments, not the iMacs or Mac Pro's. Even my computer can run COD4 at full settings without overheating (the game becomes more of a slide show though)
And of course macs are stable, they are based off Unix.
There comes a point of diminishing returns friend, and when you don't address points I introduced first then I am not obligated in any way to address yours. Take that in account next time.
P.S. Thanks for the round-about compliment on my vocabulary, G who does not have a PC.
As a last comment I'd just like you to know how much I've enjoyed this. Thank you SenorChito for making my day! I'm being completely serious. You're being close-minded for making a line of assumptions, and to be quite frank vnot very open to the other side as evident with the Motherfer this and that. So you're going to speak to me in a condescending tone, curse me out, and make a line of assumptions just because I don't care for Macs. Now who is being close-minded, arrogant, presumptuous. I think it is you sir, and before you call anyone else a kid you should learn to not speak like one yourself. You see grown up conversation people usually don't curse one another for disagreeing. I mean you're just digging yourself deeper here, sir. Isn't it already bad enough you use a Mac? :(
All I can really do is laugh and hope for your sake that at least 3/4 of the above was sarcasm. I mean with that type of "arguing" (mind you I use that term loosely here) from one side...all the work is done for me. Good job at proving so much(none of it good) in one comment.
Did i say anything about price?? NO i said they use the same hardware now! so how can you say apple products are rubbish? there the same as PC's only difference is the operating system and price

LOL, I have a good friend who is a programmer, and it was rather amusing when he got a powerbook, to watch him cursing at it all the time. It overheated so badly, it ate _several_ processors, and had to be sent for repair. The superdrive also died, and OSX crashes and freezes more often on me that Windows XP or Vista, and I only use the Mac once or twice a month!
you are incorrect. unless a fan has stopped running, no Mac will overheat. and when is the last time a Mac fan stopped? basically never since it's rare for them to even come on.
you clearly don't have or ever heard of a Mac overheating... it's just not possible in the way they are engineered.
I lol'ed at the comments saying macs can't over heat. Ofcourse they can, any computer with a processor can over heat. And also at the mac users denying the fact that OS X freezes. I personally dont own a mac but my friend does, and his freezes plenty. But regardless Mac>Windows and also more expensive.
sure, you can get a frozen App once in awhile, but just force it to quit... the OS will remain running... it's the joy of Unix.
and no, while a Mac can get hot in certain situations, (on a pillow, under a blanket) the logicboard auto adjusts to prevent it from ever over heating. it's the joy of having full control over the product... pc's don't have that advantage... that's why they can overheat, macs cannot.
Well yes. That's true, the OS itself never froze. without proper ventilation, a logic board can only prevent so much. The mac wont overheat for no reason however, if the fan is dead or, as you said, covered by a pillow or blanket, it will overheat. The heat will have no where to escape and unless the logic board can produce cold air, the processor will overheat.
well, if it's covered by a blanket to such an extreme the mac will lower the LB temps automatically, but never freeze. those are engineered for all types of conditions and overheating is not allowed on a mac logicboard... that could cause damage, so apple builds them to step down in speed if they get too hot.
no.... Im sorry. THe logicboard is a peice of plastic or fibre or whatever it is that sends messages to other components of the computer. Most fans in Macs are already running at 100% when the processor becomes hot, therefore the logic board can't simply say "no!, you will not overheat". I've had confirmation from my friend, that many of his Macs have overheated.
Their apps freeze plenty. The OS itself never freezes. The logicboard can step down all it likes but if the processor is over a certain temperature it WILL overheat.
Yeah you should definitely buy a MAC, choosing the correct RAM chip for your motherboard, or getting a qualified technician to install it is simply beyond you. Thank God for Apple, they help losers like you access the wonderful world of technology.
windows is years behind. iphoto murders windows photo gallery. and no im not a fandoy i own a pc and a mac. and i had to pay for this for my pc it wasnt free. please tell i was supposed to come with it.
"Come on people.... Windows isn't hard to work with. I mean really, just look a this commercial we put together. Even our little actors say Windows is easy to use..." Funny how Apple has never had to convince anyone about its ease of use. If Apple only has 7% of the market share and Windows the other 90% it make you wonder why Windows is worried enough to run so many "I'm a PC" ads.

Teaching children to use copyright music material in a slide show, shame on you. The RIAA will be on your ass in no time.

All these things can never be done by a 5 or 8 years old child on Windows. Go get a Mac.
