To be honest, thats not going to be 175mph, maybe 165mph at the max maybe 170 down a hill with wind behind. But, it is possible on a 600 only if its been modded. (not just a can and PC).

@ticktock4792 To be honest, iSeEuNiCoRns2 was right about the speedo though, everyone knows their 5% off or so. I've had my 06 zx6r on a dyno and top speed has been verified as 162mph, even though the speedo reads 188 at top speed. It wasn't necessary for him to be hostile though.

I have a 600 & had a 1000. Speed is speed no matter what it is. A 600 is more than fast enough for the road especially. 160 on a 600 is the same as 160 on a 1000 or Busa. The numbers don't change b/c of the bike. Now after 170 or so a 600 is toast but where could a person consistently do that safely & LEGALLY. Great video in my opinion. You have live on the edge at some point here & there in your life.

I agree but my point was speed is speed. Guys get all siked out over a 1000. I had one & would like another one if I had the extra money to spare. But at the end of the day 150 is 150, 160 is 160, 170 is 170 & so on. The only thing that separates the 2 is that the 1000's have longer gears & more top end. Though 1st a guy on 1000 has to know how to ride & use the power. Alot of guys have 1g's & are scare to turn it up. Me & my boys have passed a few 1000's running all out.

Your bike before it even got out of the factory has been reved up in the red lines a few times to make sure it's all right. Do you know what they're doing on tracks with brand new bikes? They do a few laps the fastest they can, flush the oil, put new one in the bike, and start the loop again for about 75miles. There you go, the bike is ready. Rockets are made to do 17'000 rpm...
