  • Ok, I have mad respect for Peter Jackson, but I was really looking forward to Guillermo's take on The Hobbit. Everything he does has amazingly dark depth. He makes the dark side intriguing and interesting, not necessarily scary.

  • Charming man. Sexiest man alive!

  • This man is arguably one of the most influential figures in my life. His relentless passion for narrative in all its forms has produced some of the finest stories of the century and his works stand out as some of the most haunting, charming and immersive I´ve ever known. And as if it wasnt awesome enough that he is also a lover of the videogame medium, like myself, he is currently developing a game himself. The aptronymous "Insane" has me dripping with anticipation. keep your eyes on it.

  • So much creativity in this man. Such a genuine vision of art. Hope he gets funding for his creative work.

  • Wait. He made a deal with his dreams/The Monsters he's known to go to the bathroom?... XD

  • The interviewers face at 3.03 it's like a creature from Pans Labyrinth

  • One of my favourites directors.

    Greetings from Spain :)

  • One of the few truely great directors. Hats off.

  • Next Quest: Del Toro's Lost Note Book.

  • Guillermo del Toro = Mexican Peter Jackson

  • @mac19971 Excuse me... Peter Jackson is New Zealand's Guillermo del Toro ;)

  • @RealFerrante Okay sure, your point?

  • @mac19971 Mmmmmhhh... No, Mac... There is no point :P... Well, to be honest my point could be this: I think Guillermo is a little bit greater than Peter... Is just my point of view.... No controversy added.... Greetings!! ;)

  • @RealFerrante They're pretty much equally good XD I mean Jackson made the Lord of the Rings movies didn't he? And they all got A's, same thing with Del Toro's Pans Labyrinth. And I just used Peter Jackson cause most people I end up being around talk about him more often, and don't really say much about Hellboy, the movies Guillermo made, or even him self. Even though I love his movies and style of directing.

  • Pans Labyrinth and the Hellboy films are probably Guillermo's best.

  • MEXICAN POWER!!!!

  • I hate the fake smile at 01:35

  • @speedfreakpsycho yeha mother fucker

  • The interviewer laughs so fake

  • He's so fucking cool.

  • Digital is for lazy filmmakers................Like I don't know.......MICHAEL BAY

  • So that notebooks says really creepy things.

  • @xsotax I can't read his writing, what does it say?

  • @TyrannosaurusBoz In the page where the Chtulu-like monster is says: 1) We are on the other side of death. 2) Strenght 3 ) Direct from the Dead 4) I'm cold, very cold 5 ) Don't leave me alone 6 ) We are here, with you.

Things like that, I love Guillermo and his creepyness just make it better.

  • Guillermo del Toro's horror movies have heart.

  • 3:05 what a jackass

  • Wow, he's literally an artist, both in movies and on paper!

  • Del Toro you sir are the Stanley Kurbrick of Fantasy films. You're the Orson Welles.

  • LMAO BBC <-----

  • This guy is an absolute genius.

  • 'They are like human paninis'

  • Peter Jackosn won´t be able to do what you would have done to the hobbit!

I was hoping to see you realizing this movie... we are all sad! Existence lost one fragment of meaning

  • You are a Genius!!!!

  • The interviewer makes some very strange faces.

  • @fugnut I read your comment, then just about died laughing at 3:02.

  • @emilay88 lol what the hell was that? That face will inspire Guillermo for the next 10 years.

  • He's my favorite living director. I adore him!
