if i were you i would use akuma as anchor, i'm having a character crisis myself, my two mains are dante and wolverine, right now the anchors i'm switching around are sentinel, ryu, dr doom, and akuma, but i can't seem to decide -_-

So like, my team is is Zero, Dante, Akuma, and after watching your combo videos, I always have Zero and Dante on my team, however I like to change the anchor a bit. I've always ran Zero and Dante, and as I can see you're not that different. (:

Nini how do you time that zero loop? I can get the j.M after the j.H consistently but when I land and normal jump up for j.M it whiffs the character ends up being too high

@RDKXL strider isnt a gamble at all. What exactly are you even gambling? If you happen to have 3 vars you pretty much guarantee a dead character with oroboros but if you dont strider is still a great anchor compared to most because of his increased speed and getting in options.

@RDKXL Yeah, we had a tourney today and I feel like i'll be switching between Strider, Vergil and Akuma depending on the matchups. Strider pretty much allows me to not be too free to morrigan and Trish but isn't that great against more grounded teams

@kbkoolio: i had a dream... and in the dream you used zero / dante / akuma. also zero beats trish. dont let marvel make you brain dead. at high level you need to play the match up, not your playstyle/your character. part of zero being top tier is the fact he can play different styles and do it well. you need to explore that and not just play your flowchart style.

The only characters I play and feel comfy with that are Zero,Wesker,Trish and Dante but they don't have that much synergy between themselves, and I also want to play Iron Man, but i'm free without Zero and Dante together, and i'm not sold on anchor man yet. what to do... FIRST WORLD PROBLEMS

@kbkoolio Rawr I know how you feel. I gotta have Tron/Athur together and ive been cycling through different characters to fill in the gap since Ultimate came out D:. I think you just gotta give in sometimes and pick a combination that doesnt necessarily work too well together, but works anyway.

@kbkoolio try Zero Dante Wesker (team i use) Zero in Dante DHC is ridiculous, Zero is very good on point though you put anyone one of them on point it works fine but i Recommend the way its mentioned, Wesker gunshot assist and Dante jam session to increase combo length with Zero. and lvl 4 x-factor Wesker, what else is their to say, other than that's and extremely effective team.

I'm with koolio on this one Jam Session is just so boss I can't even imagine using a different Dante assist.

Have you tried switching Dante to Weasel Shot? Vajra covers the same area that Jam Session does, so unless Jam is a big part of your damage and etc., then Weasel Shot is probably better. I run Viper/Dante/Strider, and Weasel Shot helps create easy-ass hitconfirms, and allows to rush down super easy.

@DrakoShadows Jam is not just for anti airing purposes. The lockdown, the speed, the area it covers(strider can't hit trish if she places a peekaboo right for example) as well as some of my secret strats(ryuenjin + Jam Session anti air) means I can't even get rid of Jam Session. Weasel Shot gives mixups, but Jam does that too as well.
