Say what you want, using real people for a game was a great concept. Imagine where things would be now if they kept the idea and just got better in gameplay.
I always wonder how they make games like this? I mean, for each scenario, they have to film the guys' successfully shooting you, AND getting shot down as well. Like, how could they film the exact same angle and make they guys fall down? They somehow make it all appear as it's happening as you play it. Hard to explain what I mean, but I just can't figure out how they do it?
Hey Unless you played this game on a DOS computer you can't review it! in fact why are you even reviewing the Wii version at all, get a GATEWAY 2000 or something!
This game was so much fun, but I could never complete the screen with the three guys who shoot you in a line at point blank... I wish I still had my DOS!

Someone's probably told you this already, but you can continue past the guide select in Mad Dog II. Each route lets you continue after every few screens.
gunshots aren't a .wav, they're a volume...also looks like they nerfed the difficulty from the arcade version, worked good as an arcade game back in the day, also i think some of the old arcade versions had an air compressor to simulate the noise, it's faster if you don't use the crosshair, just 'aim' like pointing or camera use

If anyone's looking for a game in the old west, stay away from this game and go for Red Dead Redemption instead. That game has better acting, better action, better replay value, and it truly shows the spirit of the old west! Trust me, you'll thank me later!
No way i cant believe the reviewer completely slated this,im estatic that these American Laser Games are on the Wii,ive only just bought one and this is definately one of the first games im buying!..Aaah,the remeniss of boldly putting a whole pound,...that shouldve lasted me about an hour at the arcade,..into the slot,..and lasting about five minutes because i was about ten...lol..

actually in mad dog 2 its a lot worse actually its even worse then the sega cd version cause in the sega cd u only had to pick one of the people to beat the game. in the wii version u have to beat all 3 of then in the one sitting that means u have to get the gold 3 times kill mad dog 3 times >___<. and about the continue complete bull u don't get a checkpoint until your outside the mime and thats the around the end and the ending (spoilers) it ends in a cliffhanger.

This game is awesome. I'll be uploading a walkthrough of all three games. The actinf may be bad, but that's exactly what you'd expect from the wild west. I think your review was a little harsh. A great addictive game methinks.
On Mad Dog 2 I got up to Mad Dog but found it to hard to defeat him as they cut out where he pulled his gun out so when you watch his hand is near the holster then he is pointing the gun at you so you have hardly any time to get him so I did not manage to complete it but I did manage to at least get up to him.
I had no idea they released the 'Mad Dog McCree' games for the Wii. Since the Wii is capable of DVD video quality, i'm guessing that 'Dragon's Lair', and 'Space Ace' will eventually show up in a Wii compilation soon.
As Mad Dog McCree strolled through the swing doors, an eerie silence decended on the WiiViewer Saloon. The piano stopped tinkling, the card-sharps dropped their poker chips. Maybe a bad game,,,but I wish this gen would go back to real actors....With some good innovation I think developers could really make a big impact...
Cause its like 3do which used real actors has better graphics then this gen, cause how do you beat real people and environments....

This game is awesome. I'll be uploading a walkthrough of all three games. The actinf may be bad, but that's exactly what you'd expect from the wild west. I think your review was a little harsh. A great addictive game methinks.

On Mad Dog 2 I got up to Mad Dog but found it to hard to defeat him as they cut out where he pulled his gun out so when you watch his hand is near the holster then he is pointing the gun at you so you have hardly any time to get him so I did not manage to complete it but I did manage to at least get up to him.

I want Dragon's Lair for Wii! And I love Mad Dog McCree, I remember playing it on Sega CD and I still play it sometimes today.

I had no idea they released the 'Mad Dog McCree' games for the Wii. Since the Wii is capable of DVD video quality, i'm guessing that 'Dragon's Lair', and 'Space Ace' will eventually show up in a Wii compilation soon.
