  • one of my close friends who I think became a nurse ended up marrying someone she did secondals over. She almost died. Her first marriage didn't work out and I think she had two kids, maybe one. I wonder if she remarried again. Never kept in touch with them. I'm sure she's fine. almost saw the electric light orchestra, meant to see the moody blues. saw many other. Thanks for the info of jack daniels and sominex killed him.

  • I knew it was something like that. Heard that on the radio today on the way out to siesta key. too tired to listen to the radio on the way back, but we laughed about how hard it was while we were stuck, happily with the air on, at the draw bridge. On the way out was so beautiful, then just made a circle, right turns for traffic, to stickney. We sat and looked at the beach goers. It was so beautiful. My friend and I are a little old to be working that hard again. work is work though.

  • The 39 of those who dislike this type of Rock N Roll have no idea of what good ole Rock N Roll music is. I was born in 1966 and grew up on Rock music. The late 60s, all threw the 70s and early 80s will always be the greatest time for Rock n Roll music, especially the 70s. And those around my age will agree to this. Long live good ole Rock N Roll music!

  • Theres not 1 of their songs i dont like

  • it took me forever to find this becuase of the stupid lmfao and david rush rap mainstream stuff what happened to the good music like this.

  • Reminds me so much of my senior year of high school. I found a copy of 10 From 6 in my first car when I bought it and stays in every car since then.

  • I agree with that but without autotune we wouldnt even have over half the music we have today or any at all.

  • @mineisbiggerful You say that like it's a bad thing.

  • what i love about bad company is the beats are simple. they don't do over the top overdrive powered tapping solos but they are back to the basics of music where you had the minimal amount of powered instruments. they didn't have autotune or shit like today. they made music. they did what they could with what they had and are better than any of the shit today.

  • Yes Yes mrfear8675377!

  • best song ever

  • wow. came her to enjoy the song and read some comments while listing as many do on youtube and of course i find hate filled comments. big surprise right?

but public forum answer me this: when commenting with the amount of hate behind the word f*****... think someone is having some supressed homoerotic feelings?

its ok kenfOo we are all here for you. we understand you were born that way... a total tool.

  • This song was in a tribute to Martin Luther King Junior at my school!

  • anyone dislikes this song should be shot.

  • how could anyone dislike this song?

  • Pure Brilliance !

  • Dumb question and I should know this but who is this song written about?

  • @RVBOY2 It wasn't inspired by the alcohol and more drug related deaths of singers like Jim Morrison, Janis Joplin and Jimi Hendrix

  • @musicofftheflap I did when I was 14 and I still get incredibly depressed listening to it

  • The first thing I thought of was hendrix, obviously. It makes me so sad

  • @LedZeppelinIsrad I've always thought it was about Hendrix. When Hendrix was born he was named JOHNNY MARSHALL HENDRIX ....but Al changed it to James. And that's the way he died..He didn't QUARTER those GERMAN SLEEPING PILLS like he was supposed to...he took a whole one, plus had drank some wine. And when Paul sings "IF YOU LISTEN TO THE WIND YOU CAN STILL HEAR HIM PLAY"...Makes you think about..."THE WIND CRIES MARY"...JMO.

  • @SteveGaines thats who i was always told it was about too

  • @SteveGaines hey man R.I.P Steve and Cassy and all the others who died that sad, sad day... SKYNYRD RULES!!! FOR LIFE!!!

  • im i the only 14 year old out there who cries when i listen to this song?

  • GREAT SONG! GREAT BAND!

  • is this song about Jimi Hendrix?

  • @hellzyeah918 yes inspired by Hendrix and Janis and Morrison.

  • @hellzyeah918 thats exactly what i thought!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • holy crap i need lots of weed and / or heroin right now? anybody?!

  • johnny died one night, died in his bed,

bottle of whiskey, sleeping tablets by his head?

  • hells yeah

  • classic thumbs up if yall agree

  • This song brings back memories of long ago. Times when I was young & dumb. My brother and I would crank up this song. Didn't remember this song having a story behind it though. Good memories. Great band. What happened to the real music from my youth that lacked Auto-Tune and computers?

  • This is much better than the new songs

  • Comment removed

  • @epcdave My best to you and your brother Johnny!

  • @epcdave crazy story but i guess u picked the right song to post it to...but this is a good time song not a sad song so let's not talk about jerry sandusky type shit.

  • @epcdave ~ aww dave....:o)

  • @epcdave Your Brother is a Star Dave....Look after him..he is A Shooting Star!..just listen to Paul Rodgers music in your hour of need, he as always been my inspiration..always makes me happy when I'm sad.

  • @epcdave wtf is wrong with you? do you not understand the difference between "personal" and "public"?

  • @kenfo0 hey shut the fuck up ok, clearly you dont fucking know what its like to be abused, if you did you would know it sucks and for someone like you to be a prick for the man telling his story is just plain insulting

  • @corpralkirsch hey, no, I don't think I will. Keep your personal biz to yourself, nancy. grow up. YOU are "just plain insulting".

  • @kenfo0 your entire existence is just plain insulting, i bet theres not a single person on the face of this who is willing to tolerate your being, i bet your own mother wishes you where dead, dont ever bash someone for wanting to share their story you have no fucking right to judge anyone looks like your the one that needs to grow up a little you stupid hate filled faggot
