I saw John Mayer at the Manchester Appolla on the 15th so days after this and I must be honest I was dissapointed! He did not even do a 20 minute accustic crowd pleaser set. I was really looking forward to seeing him but he just did not seem to be bothered about pleasing or interacting with the crowd. Maybe I caught him on a bad night. Hope you enjoyed it though
Really? That's such a shame! He was very upbeat and interactive with the crowd in Amsterdam. He even gave us a speech on how we were the first European crowd ever that managed to make him feel connected to Europe, and he kept on saying how awesome he and the band thought we were, and that he hoped we'd notice that in his playing..
I'm seeing him again tomorrow in London though, so I'll find out if maybe it's different then..
ah its a shame you think that. i thought he was really good at the apollo! he even came out to meet some of the fans after and signed things for us, which no ones ever done at a concert i've been to before. i thought he was lovely :)
@TerryKravMaga I have seen him 2 times in St. Louis MO, I thought the first concert with him sucking was a fluke, so I went to a second. Needless to say, I won't go to a 3rd. I will buy the recorded DVD's and BLUrays.but not paying to attend one of his concerts where he acts like an asshole. WIsh there was a way to get a refund for those tickets and my time.

Zo dichtbij, zo scherp, zo'n goeie geluidskwaliteit.
Ik stond op het balkon en heb Free Fallin' ook gefilmd, maar ik ben hier echt jaloers op! :D
