Interesting that creation should be interpreted that way (a very male-centered way) since when an egg is "fertilized" what actually happens is the egg pulls in the specific sperm it wants and actively pulls it in, instead of the sperm "invading" the supposedly passive egg. I know, but we as humans, in our male-dominated culture, interpret and read nature through our lenses. In this case, we ascribe traditionally masculine characteristics to the sperm (which comes from males, typically) and feminine characteristics to the egg (which females carry), and we assume that the egg is thus a "passive receptacle" and the sperm is an "active invader." These concepts are made up by our culture. That was my point. The interpretation/reading of nature being male-centered.
