  • In Korea we learn Korean and write in Korean, but we do learn a certain amount of Chinese characters.

  • japanese , chinese and korean are from the same many years ago .they are from the same family .

  • @lixzx007 Tradition! Before our most famous King (King Sejong) made the Korean alphabet, we used Chinese characters. We also kept using Chinese because they were our strongest allies.

  • That was very informative. Not to pry too much, but I'm curious why your Grand fathers, grandmother is buried in another area.

  • @joonbug730 That is a very good question!!! Back in the days and somewhat even now, Korean's were very into what fortune tellers would say. So my Oldest Uncle went to some well known person about placing Grandma next to Grandpa and the person said because Grandma's lineage and character or something like that was so strong that it is not a good idea to place them next to each other because it will hamper the next generation of Nams. LOL Korean tradition can be weird! LOL
