I guarantee you if he had 30 + minutes a game when he first entered NBA, he'd be a superstar. He has an amazing shot and faces pressure in the NBA. At least he was a great college player and for filled his DREAMS and set records doing it, playing for his favorite, Duke Blue Devils.

@jwpolar Man, you're both wrong, he averages 0.3 steals per game. Now, that doesn't make him a phenomenal defender but considering the time he gets on the court, it's pretty solid still. He's definitely far from being the worst defender in the league, I could name so many more that are worse than him. E.g. Chris Quinn, Gerald Henderson, Shelden Williams, Keith Bogans, (fuck it, why not) Kwame Brown & Brian Scalabrine. All of which play about the same minutes (other than Scala).

He practically won the game for Duke because he knew the exact play unc was running and denied their go-to guy the ball. He didn't average some 26 ppg as a senior without a basketball IQ. And he just scored 29 points against Denver. He has a high basketball IQ.

You can credit that to Vince carter not showing up, Dwight not being able to do anything offensively against Perkins, and just an all-around lack of play-making. I swear there were times watching that series where it felt like no one on the magic knew wtf was going on. Oh and there quite a few times were redick actually facilitated the offense and kept Orlando somewhat in the games. Other than that yes he fucked up :D
