@gergaginflopple I will admit that, although I absolutely hate him, Nathan does have a really powerful voice. I do like Nocturne and there's even a few songs from Midheaven that are bearable to me, but I absolutely love Digital Veil, more than both of them. Maybe its because the writing is heavier and I love the Alaska-era BTBAM esque sound. Travis fit it perfectly in my opinion. You honestly should give Digital Veil another chance.

Honestly, I like Midheaven better than both Nocturne and Digital Veil.. Though the guitar parts from Nocturne are more fun to play, the music in Midheaven is much more unique, and artistic. Travis Richter is an absolutely horrible lyricist compared to Nathan, and he has so much less feeling in his screams.. Nathan is pure emotion.

I'm not a huge fan of this song but there are really good riffs in it. Midhaven wouldn't have been so bad if it wasnt for the vocalist and the absence of A.J. Minette. The lyrics of all the songs were good and the music wasn't that bad either.
I'm really tired of people ripping on Midheaven. It's a good album. Just because the guitar licks aren't as fast, doesnt mean the songwriting is worse. Some of the chord progressions in this song are actually quite sophisticated.

3 Years ago when this album came out, I actually thought that this was a new singer. So in a way, I agree with everyone dissing the singer, which I usually don't do. It's so different from Nocturne on so many levels. Not to be a pessimist, but I couldn't get into this CD at all.

Wow, that Nathan Ells is one weird-looking guy, but I have to say that after multiple listens and complete open mindedness (albeit forced) I really enjoy Midheaven now. Of course I'll never enjoy it as much as Nocturne and the Digital Veil is going to be the best album ever, but Nathan did help put together one last example of kick-assery before he left. you guys have no idea who THA is apparently. This entire album was a different track for the band. They lost AJ, and they wanted to try something different. Quit dissing the band and listen to their other songs from their other albums.
It's more than just being a "singer" or a "vocalist". You need a FRONTMAN if to represent a band and he is not a frontman. In this case the obvious talent is the guitarists.
I've noticed on almost all of the videos for this CD everybody is dissing the singer. He has a very unique way of singing and to tell you the truth, i like it, a lot. I dont think he sounds bad at all, and i like how he doesnt just sing one way throughout the whole video. You all can go back to dissing him if you want to but i just thought I'd throw in my 2cents.

I'm really tired of people ripping on Midheaven. It's a good album. Just because the guitar licks aren't as fast, doesnt mean the songwriting is worse. Some of the chord progressions in this song are actually quite sophisticated.

@skacorekid616 The lyrics to this song are pretty powerful though i'd agree that if you are listening to THA for the guitar, then yea Nocturne or Digital Veil is the way to go. Midheaven is different but still better than most of the crap produced these days.

This album has some amazing instrument work and even more amazing lyrics, both filled with meaning and emotion. If Midheaven isn't "heavy" enough for you to enjoy it, then you're listening to Digital Veil for the wrong reasons.

Nocturne was so good. Midheaven lacked so much. Digital Veil sounds very promising. I miss Nathan however. Regardless of all the trouble he supposedly caused. He was a unique frontman.

3 Years ago when this album came out, I actually thought that this was a new singer. So in a way, I agree with everyone dissing the singer, which I usually don't do. It's so different from Nocturne on so many levels. Not to be a pessimist, but I couldn't get into this CD at all.

Wow, that Nathan Ells is one weird-looking guy, but I have to say that after multiple listens and complete open mindedness (albeit forced) I really enjoy Midheaven now. Of course I'll never enjoy it as much as Nocturne and the Digital Veil is going to be the best album ever, but Nathan did help put together one last example of kick-assery before he left. Thanks guys for making amazing music. Digital Veil will be HUGE!!

I've noticed on almost all of the videos for this CD everybody is dissing the singer. He has a very unique way of singing and to tell you the truth, i like it, a lot. I dont think he sounds bad at all, and i like how he doesnt just sing one way throughout the whole video. You all can go back to dissing him if you want to but i just thought I'd throw in my 2cents.
