Those where times when history was made by the music and it used to fit always with the scenes :) MISS THESE MOVIES, THIS AWESOME MOVIES made by Disney (:
Sorry, I just can't agree with you. I've seen Tangled, and it's a very good movie, but it just don't reach the quality of this classics, "The Beauty and the Beast", "The Lion King", "Pocahontas", "Toy Story", "Peter Pan", etc... Of course Disney stills do very good movies indeed, but they nothing have to do with the ones I just said ^^
0:10 onwards when I was listening to this gave me goosebumps and shivers. I mean that scene sounds like something that belongs more in a Halloween movie than in this one.
@krogarfar66 definately!!! and its his music that makes the magic happen in each disney movie that features his work :D he is amazing at what he does <3 <3
Love...love...LOVE this track. Growing up it always popped into my head whenever I started wandering into places people told me I shouldn't out of curiousity. X3 Which shows how effective the score is to the scene at hand. Then the perfect chase/fight music! Seriously Alan's heart was in this one. Not to say it isn't in any of his other works, but this track stands out. :D
Dear Alan Menken: This song was composed by Saint-Saens and is based on the piece called "The Aquarium".. Good job though, it's just not all your own music.
@UglyBetty70 Good ear! However, the best movie music is often borrowed. John Williams has been borrowing from the greats over the entire course of his career. Go listen to "Mars" by Holst and tell me that the Imperial March from Star Wars is an original composition.
I think it's appropriate to the movie's Provençal theme that the borrowing that went on was from a distinctly French composer.
It's mostly Menken. I'm just glad he wasn't too proud to include the best of other composers, as well.
This sounds like the aquarium by camille saint-saens.

At 00:40 to 01:20 I know that music has been used in other movies. Any help?

@BluAravena You're probably thinking of the Aquarium movement of The Carnival of Animals, which was a pretty huge influence on this song.

Beast: Do you realize what you could have DONE?! (gpes into a rampage nearly attacking poor Belle)
Belle: Please! Stop!
Beast: (out of it) Get OUT!!!!
Belle: (gasps) No! (runs for her life as Adam continues his tantrum)
Beast: GEEEET OOOOOOOOOOUUUUUUUT!!!!!!!!!!! (Belle runs for her life)

@88Vrus88 I've seen it, just listening to it on the soundtrack makes it seem scary. Even scarier than Beast's first appearance.
