Obama is a slap in the face of EVERYONE who thought that the US government was not controlled by neo-cons.

America isn't a democracy - we have a "two party state" which is really just one party but with slightly differing views (foreign policy is virtually identical). America has become a police state and the situation is getting worse.

There are only a handful of people who will stand up to the status quo and aren't afraid to speak up - Ron Paul is one of those men as is Ralph Nader.
