I hate the Sith myself, but Anakin would have been an epic Darth Vader, mind you Darth Vader is kinda beast anyway, but Anakin woulda killed Sidious, just as Sidious killed Plagueis, and he probably would have saved Padme. Although, if that happened, Luke would have gotten his ass kicked or trained to use the Dark Side from birth. And eventually Anakin probably would have killed Padme. well yes i see what you mean. but if you look at other wars, take WWII for example. once hitler was killed (poisened himself), Russia took over Germany in a quick sweep. they just completed destroyed them. you would figure this would happen in star wars after The death star is destroyed, along with the imperial leaders, darth sidius and darth vader. basically the rebels wld have jst gone to the other planets and taken out any imperial threats left over
