I still like the G1 the most. I had the T-mobile Shadow before my G1 and I have to say, that with windows 6.0, auto word correct and filler along with a blackberry pearl keyboard, It is still my favorite for texting!

It looks like the Bold was doing a warm boot - not a boot from cold. On some phones pressing the "on" switch is actually a warm boot and on others its a real start from cold.

In anycase, time to switch on is not a very useful test. How often do you completely power off and on your ohone? Its the speed in operation and how often you need to reset the phone which is the issue.

Thanks for the effort in doing these reviews but you reaaly need to understand what you are testing a bit better.
