I've been thinking ... Armor of the Master is a data sim of Eraqus in his armor. I read on the KH Wiki its journal entry. It says "A physical manifestation of what remained of a Keyblade Master's thoughts and emotions." So does that mean an Eraqus Remnant exists? Considering the entry, how you fight him in the dilapidated LoD, and his heart is with Terra, I'd imagine Eraqus did and Alphonse and had his soul take residence in his armor.

@621Chopsuey he is not a data simulation, he is a remnant, just like the Lingering Will from KH2, No Heart from Birth By Sleep.

The armor of the master is therefore, an animated suit of armor containing Erquas's last will.

It is also the point at which Erquas was at his strongest just like No Heart.

To conclude, I disagree ith your point based on pre-existing evidence, but every person has an opinion.

@621Chopsuey The arena which you fight No Heart is very different, that leads me to believe that No Heart would be real. As well looking at Terra's armor, which is the only one which we have conclusive evidence of, is real.

But yes, I think that the Mirage arena match's are actual encounters. If not, then at least No Hearts match is real.

@TheAnimeXIII I actually didn't notice this until today. In KH2/FM and ReCoded, all data projections form in a cylinder of code. Armor of the Master and No Heart don't do that in BBSFM. That means they have to be the remnants of Eraqus and Xehanort respectively. Which begats a whole lot more theories regarding 3D.

@621Chopsuey Actually, Tetsuya Nomura said in an interview that the Mirage Arena is NON-CANON, which means that all its inhabitants are non-canon, too.

He also stated that No Heart was simply supposed to be a display of what Xehanort's fighting style was in his prime.

@jkb5954 I'm don't know. He did say he would never make a BBSFM, but here we are with one. Maybe none, some, or all of the Mirage Arena matches are non-canon for now until otherwise said by Nomura-sama. Knowing him, he can pull a fast one.
