Molten metal found was due to trapped heat from the fires burning during the collapse. Explosives or incendiary devices do not cause molten metal. They burn too quickly.

If it had its own oxygen, then it would burn its own fuel in a few minutes, not days, not weeks.

Also chemistry professor Niels Harrit, Dr Steve Jones & 7 other scientists have found nano thermite in the multiple wtc dust samples extracted from ground zero. Thermate(thermite + sulpher) burns at near 4000 df, produces molten metal as a by product & has its own oxygen supply. The steal core would have converted to molten metal very quickly as steal melts at 2750 df, this may also explain how the towers collapse sped up as the collapses progressed which goes against the basic laws of physics.

Also, they are making the presumption that a binary explosive can stop reacting once started. That means this would be the first time in history a binary explosive can do that.

1. Thermite stops burning once it is consumed. So after about 5 minutes, it would stop burning. So, if it stopped after 5 minutes, how would it last for weeks?

2. You don't know physics.

Its pretty simple if you think about it. Think of the entire mass of the twin towers, the amount of concrete that was pulverized in to dust. As you only need enough thermite with just enough explosives to buckle key structual load bearing points, which compared to the rest of the mass of the entire twin towers is a very small area the ratio of concrete and other materials compared to thermate its obviously going to be much much higher.

Also being nano thermite the particles would be extremely fine, hence 'nano'. Are we learning yet? So much of it would have blown away or washed down drains. You are aware FEMA had 'all' the structual steal removed, melted down, shipped over seas and sold before forensic analysis could take place. If the dust was piled as high as it was, so would the residue of the thermite. Also, there is 300 tons of the steel kept to this day for testing. Also to answer your other question the nano thermate could have been placed above key structual joins connecting the horizontal H beams to the core vertical beams and the tubestructure outer walls. This would explain the bizare pankaking effect we saw on 9/11 3 times in 1 day! Do you think highrises reguarly collapse from the top (the part of the building bearing the least load) then collapse straight through the path of maximum resistance instead of finding the easiest path to follow?

These fires did not have the availability to vent the heat or to be extinguished, so they remained burning for weeks until they could be vented. The temp of these fires have not been measured since they were beneath the rubble. Speculation can always be made as to the, but scientific estimates would be much more accurate.

Before the collapse, there was no need or ability of the temps to melt steel (note spelling) as the temp was high enough to cause the steel to lose it strength to the point of truss failure. In all 3 towers, there was a combination of extreme damage and uncontrolled office fires. Each had its own point of collapse once the steel beams lost their ability to hold the weight of the portion of the building above the damage.
