but the reason that it turn into a ball and sinks in is that you hold the brush away from the water, you should hold it very close to the water so it wouldn't sink in.

Some polishes work better than others, though.

It's kind of a hit and miss type situation.

It's not even consistent within the brand.

@Boygasm I actually tried it again and I found out that some of my nail polish just absolutely wont work but I eventually got the dripping part right it's just that I get it sometimes but not all the time. Then I had trouble trying to shape it so I eventually gave up coz I was wasting too much nail polish. But thanks for the advice. @ZombayQueen19 if u dnt wanna waste that much nail polish for just 1 nail u can dip in 2 or more fingers simultaneously but properly. or even better: make the design, let it dry for like 10 mins or more, n then take the design carefully out of the cup using toothpick, orange stick or just ur fingers. pat the water droplets (if any) from the design using tissue n then cut it into 4 or more equal pieces (however u want it to b). n then stick them upon ur nails. u can even store them 2 use later :)

@licoleloves you have to try and try to get it right. Try luke warm / cold water, it could also be the nail polish type. Not all nail polish works. You have to find the right kind, I used mine from the dollar store and it worked just fine. Just lightly dip it, dont drip the nail polish. Do it slowly and have some patience.
