This is so moving. It reminds us the best of those making horror films are actually exploring humanity's most vulnerable sides - and that includes not only sex, but the need for love and the fear it will be taken away from us (along with our very lives, blood and breathe! No wonder there's a tender spot beneath it all. How utterly human and humane a moment. Thank you Kevin, and Alexia (who else for him to serenade?)
Forry was a treasure. I had the good fortune to direct him in two of my movies: Nudist Colony of the Dead and Curse of the Queerwolf. I was a guest at his 85th birthday bash. Hard to believe he's gone.
Forey, did not know me, however he sent me a few of his vintage magazines, as a way to say thank you, for some pics I sent him of special effects makeup, that i done.
BLESS YOU for capturing this precious moment with Forry and THANK YOU for posting it for us all. As an old friend (and FAN) of Forry's, I must tell you this short video is a delight and a treasure, even as melancholy as it may be. I used to duet with Forry on old Al Jolson songs and only wish there were audio or video recordings of those wonderful times. It is so heartening and somehow comforting to know he was still singing to the end. He had the heart of a lion! I loved him and will miss him.
You don't MEAN to be rude? What a foolish thing to say! How does that excuse you for then proceding to BE rude? The man could recall the lyrics of a song from the 30's in English and German at the age of 92. Weak and in terminally failing health... yes. But, SENILE? I must presume this comment, displaying a clear lack of experience and compassion, is merely evidence of the thoughtlessness of youth... (*NOTE: 4SJ died December 4th, 2008 Rest In Peace old friend!)

And you just know he loved having an attractive woman next to him -- even at that late date!
RIP Forry. Thanks for everything!
And thanks, Kevin for capturing the sweet moment on video. It must have been nearly overpowering to have actually been there.

So many people loved Forrest J Ackerman, many never met him - me included.
There will only be one like him.

As I read the stories all over the internet of his failing health, I am just sobbing watching this. Thank you for posting this. :*(

No, he wasn't senile at all. Unfortunately, he's dying now, at 92.

I don't mean to be rude, but is he senile now, or was he just fooling around? He looks really lost.
