KMFDM without Raymond or En Esch doesn't work live. Sascha has always done better when he's off to the side doing his electronic wizardry while someone else literally takes center stage. Compare some later live performances where he's dead center. Doesn't have the same vibe.
@torchiest I totally agree with you. this is why slick idiot is a lot better live now than kmfdm... and pig too when he toured last in 06. KMFDM was at their peak in the early 90's when Esch & Guenter were still heavily involved, & the music was a lot more rock & raw... now it's so robotic and souless compared to the old days & lacking the live pressence of En Esch(and Watts when he was around)

WTF, he did most of the vocals for the "Nihil" album, but there is definitely something wrong with his voice. It's like he's not trying or trying too hard or something. Does anyone know what caused the difference?

This actually sounded very, very good. I had never heard it live until now, and though I'd hate it. Difficult song to pull off live.

I think Watts sounds fine. There's a certain perfection that comes from the studio that is rarely achieved live.

Ray had some... issues. I've listened to that new sampler King Ink's got up for him though and his voice sounds much better.
Of course I suppose all that growling can't be very good for a person's throat either. That and lots of smoking...
Eh, he's still hot as fuck either way.
