I read about the SU-25TM and SM, and all it said was it got upgraded avionics and weapons suite, nothing about up armor. If you can provide me with evidence that it got an armor upgrade I will believe you, if not I wont. In terms of close air support and tank killing, the A-10 is most likely better. But remember that the Su-25 has better performance as an aircraft which could potentially increase it's survivability.

Especially when still fighting a conventional war, it fully matters. When an aircraft can carry more ordinance in general, it matters.
And even then, most of the Su-25's pylons are too close together to enable carrying more than one missile on it like the A-10.
The Su-25's wingspan is 47 ft 1 inch, while the A-10's is 57 ft 6 inches.
In actual combat operations, the A-10 usually uses all of it's pylons so that it can carry reasonable AT weapons (6 Mavericks) and good close air support weapons (6 500 lb bombs), while having ECM, light rockets, and A2A missiles.

The A-10 carries 50-100% more ordinance than the Su-25. They both have excellent guns.
The Su-25's combat radius is 375 km. The A-10's combat radius is 460 km for close air support to 467 for AT.
Both are good planes but from the looks of it, the A-10 may have the edge. If you want to discuss it I will.
