Great tune, been playing it for a while. But I was wondering if there was a way to 'make the circle' and work the tune round to the beginning again? Hopping straight to 6th fret on the A string just doesn't sound right.

Strangely enough, if you were to add distortion, the surf riff he is playing in this video kind of sounds like a song Nirvana would have done, especially in the first part of the song. Maybe it is all of the downstrokes or the type of rhythm that makes it sound like a Nirvana song.

Hi - reverb pedal - or use the amp reverb bumped up a bit for that surf sound. Plus some overdrive for this tone - enjoy and experiment - rock on!

Surf tones usually use high reverb and tremolo right?

Hi - yes - lots of reverb at tremolo at times - but experiment and come up with the tones that sound best to your ear. Enjoy
