CAn you do this with like a Td-10 v-series (or a v-series kit for like 3-4k ?) ; i'm considering getting a v-series kit for playing at home and doing personal recordings. Or is it better to rent a rehearsal room for 150/month and buy an acoustic kit for like 1500.
@fc2mccrary -- thanks duuuuude, i appreciate it, believe me, i wasnt a fan of V sets either, until i started getting complaints from neighbors, and had no choice, now they are my new best friend, haha
@Seth6581 -- haha i work hard for my money bro, i didnt pay as much for all of this as you would think, hunted for good deals, built it slowly, started with default kit, and just built on that piece by piece - thanks for watching dude
@jmagination -- thanks man, i appreciate it, i took about 5 to 6 6 years off, cuz i couldnt afford a place big enough to put a drumset in, and couldnt afford the electronic kit for the "silent" part of the deal. haha, now im back!
oh right, i know the pads are universal, i meant, i dont know if my settings are available on all roland module units, as i use the TD 12, along with the TMC6 for expansion on the kit, didnt know if all my settings were universal to all of the module units. but yes, those are the birch settings, they have a great reverb on them built into the module sound already, and if you use a diff head, and tune 3rd and 4th down a bit, you get a nice solid POP when you hit them as well. :)
I would like like to ad, the quality of your videos are great but the camera angle doesn't compliment your playing. It would be nice to see the batter side of your "skins" lol
@thelema3131 --- i know i wish i had a way to put the camera up above me, it would be awesome, haha, just dont have a way to do it at this point, maybe as i record more, i will figrue out a way to get it up there
I see what your saying. I would have never guessed those where birch tree settings The mesh pads are universal and the cymbals and rubber ones as well. I have an acoustic double bass 7 pc. kit with some roland pads sprinkled in as well as 3 mandala pads. I use the td-9 brain for the roland pads. Great triggers thats for sure.
Got to be one of the best covers around, if not the best. Keep it up mate

Once again, very well done. You clearly have a great understanding of how the drums are meant to be played. Awesome command of the kit!
