Why the fuck would Rockstar do this? They didn't do it with VC Bombs Away... After you dropped the bombs against the Cubans, the mission was complete.

SERIOUSLY FUCK THIS MISSION I had killed all except one and I had half gas left and the last one was really close (this was like the 5th try) so when I get close to shoot it, the van got really damaged smoke came out of the front and then the car drove away in really high speed and never stopped driving fast so I had to fly across town there and the fuel runs out -.- seriously fuck this why couldnt CJ just go out and kill them?

This mission is the worst, I'm attempting too beat it at the moment, and controlling the plane is like trying to piss through a cheerio, upside down, from the Empire State, I was flying towards one of the targets, and suddenly the plane decided to take a straight nose dive into the ground, then after 3 attempts at the mission, I get too the last van, and suddenly he shoots me, and the plane explodes, I'm playing on the PC version.

@UnDeaDxChaOs Disable Fly with Mouse and keep one hand on the throttle(W and S) and one hand on the arrow keys and use them for turning and pitching up/down. If you get used to that control scheme the mission becomes a piece of cake. Trust me I 100%ed SA the other day and did this missions on my first try. I think it's just that people weren't used to flying in GTA SA as they hadn't did flying school and couldn't control the plane that well.

this mission is impossible for me, I'm literally all over the damn place, I can barely get 2 feet. the only reason I was able to take out the first van was because he didn't move and I maneuvered my way along the ground. I tried to use the same tactic with the rest but the plane doesn't stay on the ground and I ended up crashing into everything. This game is great but I've hit my limit. There is no way in hell I'll be able to get past this mission on the PC.

@rjme1205 sorry man, the only advice i can give you is to plan a strategy and destroy stuff in the correct sequence so that you have enough fuel left over, don think there are any cheats available.....

you're not the only one wit problems. 3 years ago i remembered this mission being stupidly difficult :(

this mission is a "VERGAAAAA"... I think i would never finish it.

One important tip who help me passing it (at least for PC versions): reduce the sensibility from the mouse to the minimum. In this way is not as hard as with normal sensibility.

On my first playtrhough this mission was pretty easy but then on my second playthrough it just seemed much more diffcult, I guess I just got lucky the first time, I agree with most of you, this mission is the most difficult because its basically timed while you have to fly a small plane that can blow up and has to shoot guns to kill the opponents, not only that but you have to fly the damn thing back and the timer(fuel) is still counting down.
