He would probably not be another Gretzky, just tougher and produce similar points if so. The way hockey changed from 80 -> today.. just look at how Gretzky's points got reduced for each season when the 90's came. Sure he had played in NHL for 10 years, but that shouldn't stop this great man from doing 50-70ish goals again.

No. The reason scoring decreased in the 90s was because of goalie equipment getting bigger, goalies not tending like pylons anymore, and defensemen who were actually capable of skating. And since the 2000s, the game has progressed again, this time offensively, with MUCH greater scoring talent present in the game today.
