Even if they were waiting outside this is not entrapment. Entrapment is when when a cop convinces you to commit a crime.

As in you would have never committed the crime unless the cop was trying to make you.

Ever see how to catch a predator? That isn't entrapment because they are laying out an opportunity, not trying to convince them.

However, most of society uses those rules, regulations, and procedures as a safety net; so why should ANYONE be allowed to break these? I am not bitching about the thief being apprehended. I am merely expressing my concern for the fashion it was done in. Without rules, why not just kill the thief?
