  • It seems to me the NAZIS are starting to run scared as a result of the internet, Video and citizen empowerment.Won,t be long now .....(the goverment May half to pull a Gadafi duck and shut down the net to prevent an uprising)

What was that...Let them eat cake ?

  • So what was the point of this? Just to waste a fight on something completely trivial. Do you not want the law and its enforcers to move towards your overall direction and values with your movement? Some of you people, like Ridley, are incredibly skillful while others are just like fish flopping on the beach. If they allow you to garden because its owned by the "people" than maybe other "people" would wish to come build a public bath in the space you wished to use for your garden.

  • Does that enforcer of coerced monopoly law have a *mohawk*??!!

  • darn kids, not respecting authority!

  • Ha ha. Busted. That'll teach him.

You people in Keene may think this is just a minor infraction, but believe me, it's just the start. I live in Compton California. A few years ago this started here. At first nobody cared. They were just planting a few herbs and spices. Then the criminals became emboldened and started planting tomatoes and cabbage. Pretty soon it was totally out of control, with huge corn-stalks everywhere.

You guys are luck you have a police department that cares.

  • @mackler That wasn't a "minor" infraction; it was a "miner" infraction.

  • Whatever your intentions were, illegal stunts like this are counterproductive to the real issues at stake. Wantonly digging up a public park? Come on man.

  • Breakin' The LAW!

Does Keene have a lot of 1400 V power lines running inches below a city park? That's just laugh out loud stupid.

Let's call it like it is. The crime is, you didn't ask permission so they didn't have the opportunity to say no. Maybe more people will see how much time and money they waste by jumping when Simon says "jump".

Hey, if we let these hippies plant a garden in the park, pretty soon they'll leave couches on their lawns and pick up litter while wearing handguns.

  • It's better to ask for forgiveness than permission. ~Unknown Genius

  • plead "insanity"!

    no just kidding .

I've had a lot of luck in looking the law, and demanding as jury trial .

If everyone charged with something like this demanded the right to question his accusers , and establish the proper standing of a damaged party ,

establish the financial gain to the court "no fair trial possible" if convicted . ask if the fine were to be in dollars as defined by the constitution would the U.S. Treasury be picking up the tab for you ?

  • Mommy this is how NAZI's think/act/work right?...

  • My thoughts exactly. Nazis.

  • me too, so are they giving him LIFE?

  • No, just a lifetime of torture. That's the way the Nazis work.

  • hahahah WTF!!! for real.

    1 inch! deep....

    HANG HIM!!!!

TO DEATH! with him how dare he! public workers took 300 hours to fiill the inch in!!!!!!!!

  • How about you just warn people of the dangers. If they kill or injure themselves, well... that's their choice.

If they destroy the property of others, well then maybe charge them with a crime.

Having the freedom to commit a crime is not in and of itself a crime.

  • I like the reasoning, "I'm arresting you for your own protection".

  • It's a scientific fact that it's safer in county jail than it is to dig a whole (or whatever he got arrested for). Nothing bad ever happens in jails or prisons. They're like country clubs.
