  • Just curious and for learing, is that the second one rechambered to 7.62NATO? and the frist one is the old .30 06? Is that the reason why's the second one ROF goes faster?

Sorry for my poor grammar :(

  • You should go and wrap a cloth around the barrel with cloth and tape it up just like in world at war

  • haha im imagining our U.S soldiers sitting ina desert with there brownings on jeeps mowing down krouts

  • Is there any benefit to using links over the cloth belt? I really like the idea of using the cloth belt, but I see more and more people using the linked ammo. Just wondering if one is better than the other, or if it's simply a matter of personal preference..

  • Cloth belts are limited to 10 rounds unless they were owned before January 2000. There really is no way to limit links because you can have an infinitely long ammo belt using links.

  • Really? I thought it was based on the age of the magazine/belt.. In which case I would be fine, since the cloth belts that I have laying around are WWII surplus.

  • Well in CA you have to own them before Jan 2000 or they would be illegal to buy. Not to own but to buy or transport into the state. It's up to the state to prove you didn't have them before that date but I don't think I would take them out if I didn't.

  • Ah. Well I live in Illinois. It was my understanding that magazines are not allowed a capacity over 20rds unless they were manufactured before 1980. If they were then they're ok.

  • Yeah that must be a state law there. These guys are in So Cal so the CA laws are pretty strict. I go to their shoots every time they have one.

  • @crazyfvck

A big benefit of using cloth belts is they dont wear down the trunnion nearly as fast as links. That, and if you have a cloth belt loader it is faster to use than linking.

I dont miss the CA 10 round cap law. None of that in sunny AZ :)
