I'm a collector of Star Wars too. My point is he is going to be a freshmen at high school in the fall,and it would of been a better choice to get him some 3 3/4-inch figures. I hold nothing against the b-day boy or filmakermike. I'm just saying there are more age appropriate Star Wars gifts.

I think I know my cousin well enough to know what would be the best choice for him as far as presents go and to know what he would really, Really, REALLY love what my wife and I would get him for his birthday or for any other occasion. He had specifically told me that he really wanted to get a Clonetrooper helmet numerous times because out of all the Star Wars characters there is he really, Really, REALLY loves the clones the most.

@zegarski and SURE! I could have gotten him 3 3/4-inch action figures but he can easily buy those with the birthday money that he received! I wanted to get him something EXTRA special! On the plus side, he has also been planning to be a Clonetrooper for Halloween so I KNEW that the helmet AND blaster is the PERFECT gift for him. Not only will he be able to enjoy it now but he'll also be able to use it as add-ons to his clone costume in October.

@zegarski I understand you are saying there are more "age appropriate Star Wars gifts" but I think knowing my own cousin PERSONALLY would make me the best judge on what would be age appropriate for him ESPECIALLY if that's what he specifically asked for. Is his reaction not enough to show that he really LOVES both gifts? The kid could not stop wearing the helmet right after and playing with the blaster!
