- The glider with the feet is a DG-101. The glider being followed is a DG-300.

- The glide ratio of both gliders is about 40:1.

whats the glide ratio on that baby. cause if we entered our downwind in our gliders (2-33A 23-1 glide ratio) at that altitude we would be modding circuit like mad :P

Coordinated controls? I suppose that comment is because my feet don't move very much on the rudder pedals. But to see if I am coordinated, watch the yaw string. If I am uncoordinated, then the string wouldn't be straight (not that it is straight 100% of the time).  And yes, soaring/gliding is fun!

How much airbrake did you use for this approach? It looks quite long and flat, was it a low wind day? nice!

I never land that flat. I had to follow what the lead glider was doing and that's his style. If you notice just before entering base, he drops like a rock and the action fades as I have to recover. I definately had my brakes all the way in at the last part.
