  • check my channel for a little remake i did! thank you ^^

  • BEST CARTOON INTRO EVER!!!

  • Seriously all these awesome theme tunes need to be released on itunes as an album.

  • I remember really liking the cartoon, but the toys I found to be disappointing.

  • JEFF SCOT SOTTO!

  • Who'd of though this would have lead to Babylon 5?

  • I watched this every day after school...love that intro

  • Real kid of the 80's will remember! I loved the show, theme song and the toys!

  • Hey guys french version is like 10 times better ^^

    watch?v=_lLFsuT6K44

  • DAMN, that was 1985 ppl :) too bad they never finished it ):

  • Why were the cartoons of the 80's so mature and dark

  • @bluesabar they were all clear cut good vs evil stories, before the 'educate children through cartoons' brigade appeared in the 90's and things like barney the dinosaur and tellytubbies displaced 'proper' cartoons.

  • @bluesabar because they were Japanese :p

  • @bluesabar what you said

  • I'm 30yrs old, and most people don't remember Jayse and the Wheeled Warriors.

  • @gwapiethedon hey i do.

  • @gwapiethedon Are you effing kidding ? Most people I know remember so many shows from back then... Double check who you are hanging with :D

  • ha lache ,ik was al lange tijd op zoek naar dit .te gek

  • The intro was much cooler than the actual show itself.

  • These shows need to be sold and shown to everybody before they're lost forever

  • I watched through the whole series back in My childhood. I even posses the 1st part of the series and it's weird that they didn't sell the 2nd part online rather than in some uploading form.

  • Humans vs evil machine-nature could not roll out well today in a PC enviromentally overconstious today.

  • I loved Sunday mornings.

  • I'm so gutted they never finished this series. My brothers and I loved this show and watched it every morning before school. We never understood how we kept missing the end. It was only years later I realised they never finished the show!

  • I think, "Thundering across the stars to save the Universe from the Monster Minds, Jayce searches for his father to unite the magic route and lead his Lightning League to victory over changing form... of SAW-BOSS" may be the greatest sentence ever constructed...

  • @MrBuch169169 I believe it was magic root, but I agree with the sentiment

  • @TheFlashman Damnit xD

  • @MrBuch169169 I always heard it back then as Sabos/Saubos.

...I find I prefer it. Sawboss sounds...I dunno. Goofy for what he is.

  • @Bloodlyshiva You're probably right - I haven't seen this in ages. To me he will always be Saw-Boss. xD

  • @Bloodlyshiva well yea lol but he is actually ..a boss.. whit a .. saw xd

  • nostalgia to the max!

  • Amazing Tune!

  • Dude, I still have my wheeled warriors on my bookshelf!

  • Wow..Best cartoon song ever. I could watch this intro over and over again, though the show wasn't my fave during those years (there were so many great shows! ). Today cartoons will never be as amazing as those were. We were lucky =P

  • @Dqueen11 My friend, you're absolutely right! You can tell real imagination, love and effort went into making these shows. We truly were the lucky generation in that respect.

  • french version is better

  • @snake602008 Why is the Froggy version better ?

  • I actually have a NON-bootleg dvd of the 1st 4 or 5 cartoons of this series! The 80's had the absolute BEST and most innovative cartoons ever! There will never be another decade with incredible cartoons like the 80's..NEVER!! Jayce and the Wheeled Warriors was just one of my many favs!

  • damn man, this brings back memories

  • GAY!

  • I remember this

  • These were the kinds of shows that got kids to really wonder. To really imagine, create. I suspect this is why today there's such an abundance of weird, creative video games and movies and such.. it's all the end result of a childhood of great content like this!

I remember watching this every chance I got when I was little. The song got you fired up, you -wanted- to watch just to keep the energy of that opening going. Oh how I miss the days when tv was -original- and -entertaining-!

  • @MonolithTyriss Ur right! Tho' many said many 80's cartoons were "over stimulating," they truly did help to birth that imaginative, creative side of a "developing" child, needed later in life, to propel them to a damn good money paying job perhaps! When watching these cartoons as a kid, that kid then startsd to wonder, "hmm, what can I make or create!"

  • just sat here with my sons showing them what proppa cartoons sounded like...........takes me back to being that boy that buzzed his tits off to this tune.!!!!banging.

  • @Bashmuz78 Ur an EXCELLENT parent! I was watching something on tv a couple years back, where a bunch of grown up 80's kids, were having a massive viewing of Voltron. They all had their kids with them, to show them what really fun cartoons were like, and those kids were way into it!! It was agreat bonding experinece for the adults and their kids, and other family and friends as well!!

  • Great music :)

  • I remember watching this when I was little

  • oh boy am i giddy!

  • 80's \m/

  • YEAH THIS IS ON NETFLIX!!!!!!! I love the intro soooooo much

  • I loved it then, I love it now, This is the best intro ever, the best cartoon ever, and might actually be my favourite song of all time. Stick That up your CBBC.

  • This is now my PC logon sound lol.

  • ABSOLUTELY AWESOME - BRING BACK THE 80's

  • no cartoon made now have a baning tune like this

  • One of my favourite animations during Fun Factory. The only cartoons for the current generation of children which are worth watching are episodes of Avatar, other than that it's all rubbish. Whenever my children watch tv, I'm amazed that most of what is shown nowadays is terrible. Even sadder is that most children actually enjoy it all nevertheless.

  • I remember watching this as a kid during the school holidays and thought it was very intense for a cartoon!

However I have to say this song REALLY is the sh*t! I want to download it!

  • love this intro jayce and his friends are cool

  • i guess the makers of this show were either non-vegans or refused to eat their vegetables when they were young.

  • 80's cartoons rulez everything.

  • Putain mais ça a été diffusé quand tout ça :x

  • The glory days of cartoons

  • Bad ass song

  • My top childhood cartoon.....well, up there ith Ulysses......"Thundering across the stars....." haha epic.

  • wheeled warriors explode into battle, lightning strikes,...................................what a line that is!!!!!!

    Awesome!!!!

Lolz, what happend to the good old times!

I am 31 now and have seen nothing these days comparing to the old stuff!

    Thanx for posting :D

  • Every time I hear Wheeled Warriors I STILL get chills! Brilliant!

  • EPIC

  • siiiiccckkkkkk

  • If there were an Oscar to cartoon original soundtrack, "Jayce and the Wheeled Warriors" could let the winning speech ready! All time best opening song.

  • I use to be glued to the tv watching wheel warriors, i wanted one of those wheels cars they were dam cool, mostly i like centurions cartoons, boy those suites they worn were way cool, turning in to boats and cars, motorbikes, flying aircraft's, boy i wanted one of those suites in the 80s, erm wonder if any one invented those suites - now its 2010 - 30 years on . time flys.

  • THE BEST 80 CARTOON EVER!!!

  • Why in the name of feck is there no cartoons like this 2day,its all crap!

  • WOw man its been a while since I've seen this. The memories......

  • FUCKING TOON KIDS

  • only song that can rival this one is the theme from mask. then again jayce sure have the best kickas song fro a cartoon ever

  • @rocketmanswe

Its a toss up by I think the M.A.S.K. intro prevails! :D

  • Save the universe - lol that's America's job isn't it. Add there's a power deep inside of you reach in to the light? (the lord, our saviour) Amazing, the dominant ideology creeps into even kiddies television. Get their mids while they're young ; )

  • Being a kid in the 80's was awesome, marbels, conkers, and school.

also the 80's movies, BIG! police academy 6, eric the Viking, batteries not included,

MONSTER SQUAD, BATMAN 1989, terminator, alians,

    Hey anyone remember GOONIES!! ?

  • ....over the changing form of sawboss!

    (80's beat kicking in)

    that was cool!

  • didn't have the green agenda on their minds during the 80s. the organic earth based 'baddies' being challenged by symbols of human engineering and construction. probably wouldn't go down well amongst contemporary fare.

  • nostalgia plays a bigger part than you think. with their cheesy synth rock and uplifting motifs, the intros were often better than the cartoons.

  • i used to love this as a little kid

  • Thundering across the stars hack writer J. Michael Straczynski produces the bastard child of Star Wars and Lord of the Rings! In retrospect its kinda shocking we didn't find out SawBoss was his mutated father.

Has this man ever had an original idea? EVER!

  • @navyreviewer Wait...... are you being sarcastic or are you really serious?!? Oh and you forgot Road Warriors in you analogy as well - LOL

  • I remember this show and wanted the toys... however they were somewhat hide to find. At least in my area. I don't think the toys were marketed too well. The cartoons had a great story line.

  • Holy shit! I completely forgot this cartoon ever existed! I used to watch this all the time. The music is fucking excellent too!

  • dat zijn nog eens jeugdherinneringen. bedankt voor t filmpje man

  • Holy shit! I was trying to remember the name of this since forever! No wonder I forgot the title sucks.

  • Man... I use to love to watch this show back on Mexico when I was a kid... I really wish that they made cartoons like this now for my kids to watch!

Robotech, Jayce and Dungeons and Dragons...

  • Cartoons aint as good as this anymore

  • I just realized, Jayce and the Wheeled Warriors and Pole Position both had the same little girl!

Coincedence? Oh I think not. Jayce and his crew kidnapped her from Earth to work on their vehicles!

Or did she fall to earth after a battle and use her knowledge of the futuristic cars to build the mega-cars of Pole Position?

    The world may never know.

  • @Rodshark75 besides the hair color they arent that similar...

and flora (the girl from this series) is not even human...

  • One of the best no-manga series I've seen in my whole life. I remember watching all their episodse, even one of the made me have nightmares, but I dìdn't care, they're awesome!!!

  • 'There's a power that comes from deep inside of you, cause every day you're reaching for the light, and you know there's a long long way ahead of you, but when your wheels get you there,

    Things will turn out rii-iight!

    Awesome!

  • I sure wish there were more Wheel Warriors episodes on Youtube, I have only found a few.

But they are good, everything, the quality, the music and not least, the humour.

No cartoons today come close to those of the golden 80s.

Compare them to Pokemon for instance or similar, phah.

Great to have been a child of the 80s.

  • Ah, this brings back fond memories.

  • my favorite toys of all time voltron is #2

  • I liked how a lot of old school cartoons had lessons/PSAs at the end of each episode.

  • I agree Venigmatic 23 they had lessons to learn in everyday life. This is the reason why our generation of the 80's turned out to be responsible men and women.

  • ye they are relly good most of the 80s intros to cartoons

  • epic music! :D

All those 80s opening themes rocked! Still do!

  • This music is SICK. Growing up in the 80's with every cartoon and videogame having an arena rock/electronic soundtrack...and then also my parents having MTV on in my house 24/7...made me into a huge pop/rock fan later in my life.

90% of my favorite music has cheesy keyboards, reverb-heavy synthetic drums, and melodic, harmony choruses.

I recommend everyone check out stuff by Rush, Asia, Saga, GTR, It Bites...awesome bands that sounded great in the 80s, similiar to the Jayce theme, really.

  • UR GOD DAMN RYT MY FRIEND!!!!

music today shud be like it was back then (and i was born in 92 ffs lol)

the industry needs a lethal injection of big hair, electric guitar riffs, a rumbling bass riff and a drummer with a kit thats THREE TIMES HIS SIZE and he don't have the first clue how to play

    THATS FUCKING MUSIC!!!!

  • the girl at 0:44 looks like the chick from inspector gadget

  • Comment removed

  • That's Flora, she's actually a plant!. And rides a flying space-orca...or something...named Brock

  • This intro ranks in my top 10 including Star Blazers, M.A.S.K ., The Transformers. I just couldnt for the life of me remember what the show was called until now. THANKS.

  • ah i rember this along with Mask, Mysterious Cities of Gold & Uylsses 31 always used to be on TCC before i went to the school in the mornings.

  • I would've loved to see a Wheeled Warriors/MASK crossover. That would've been badass since they both came out around the same time & they were both done by DIC.

  • Damn these kind of cartoons should be good to some1 do something like this in these days of just violence and etc... i still have hope, i have 25 years old but i still remembers cartoons like Pole Positions and other great 80 Cartoons

  • Classic. These were proper cartoons!!!!!

  • @blanch1981 These "cartoons" were just 30 min long commericials for toys. The majority of the them were terrible this one in particular. Take off the nostagia glasses

  • @blanch1981 It was a real shame they never completed the series on these cartoons

  • @Byootox

I'm still waiting for shout factory to release the second half

  • @DangerousD6969 Whats the probabability they will release them ? problem as I see it though is even if it is done, trying to keep the style the same as the original due to the big jump in years and whats allowed and not allowed on tv now.

  • awesome lyrics... why dont they do this kind of theme music anymore? its all metal with no song...

  • haha funny. ive been trying to figgure out what the name of this cartoon was for years. now i know =)-

  • Me too

  • I remember I had the toys to the vehicles.....so customizable......they were hella cool back then

  • The Original Pimped my ride...Awesome song. They dont make good one like this any more. Very far in in between.

  • this is about to be my ringtone :)

  • @Marnfacy - where did you find it to put on your phone, would love it as a ringtone.

  • @EDAJIREC eh depends what kind of phone do you have??? because it could be a case of putting the song directly onto your phone, or possibly if its an iphone getting a bit clever but if you mail me with your phone type i can advise :P

  • AAAAAHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

love it byt just reminds me how iam

  • lol i used to like the little fellow in this series

    forgot his name

  • he was called Oon

  • snarf

    just kidding

  • I feel sorry for this generation, and the coming ones. You can't find such good cartoons anymore. Brings back memories. The last of the good cartoons was the Avatar(Last Air Bender)

    R.I.P to the dying breed.

  • not to mention cool theme songs... they're gone, too. it's just a quick flash of the logo today, and that's it... =(

  • ha ha magic root

  • Tecktonic before the day ? :)

  • Hi-Quality??????

The video/sound quality doesn't look much better than other Wheeled Warriors openings posted.

  • On my Pc the video HQ but Youtube compresed it at a lower quality.

  • @bmw518rijder Re-upload it. Quality's improved since then.

  • Trust me. This is pretty high quality compared to the others xD

I have a few eps on a vhs somewhere. I really miss this old show. Ahh nostalgia trip. Too bad the series never ended. Friggin american merchendicers. D: <

"Oh noes. The toys aren´t popular anymore. Let´s cancel this show then."

And the ending that they tried was too abrupt :<

  • The audio does sound better than what others have put on this site, at least.

  • @mitrooper then youre videocard must be broken cause this is the best one around

  • They put the effort in. In 20 years todays kids won't be able to say to there mates remember this theme tune etc as today cartoons have such sort intros.

  • I´m from mexico, and i used to watch this cartoons when i was a child

  • skukilevy . com

This guy made themes like M.A.S.K., Inspector Gadget, Spider-man and Xmen, Rainbow Brite! Popples. He-man! Dennis the Menace. The guy has so much variety in his themes. So many classics. Just go to his website and look at the musical compilations!

Shuki Levy, you are the man.

  • i feel so proud to be a kid in the 80s. the best imaginations and creations to the music intros. Awesome stuff! Shuki Levy is one of the best composers period.

  • OMG, I had no idea ONE dude did the theme songs for so many shows I grew up with. Thank you for sharing this! ^_^

  • Simply the BEST!

  • best cartoon intro and music EVER

  • Did Jayce ever find his father?

Love the streak in their hair Ha Ha Ha

  • This serie was an franco american serie. The end of the series was written but not produced because the series wasn't enough popular in the US. I know a part of the end but i don't want to spoil for the others.

  • Hey There... somebody can tell me please who performed this opening theme ?

    Thanks-

  • ah shuki levy i think. This is the most epic theme song ever, I still get hyper listening to it! haha :P

  • hey Thank you so much

  • very underrated cartoon show! Not even in IGN's 100 best and they showcased some really quirky un-heard of shows.

Jayce is a name known to a select few!

  • i could always accept the plant driven world and the rest of it, but the ring? naaah :o)

  • The magic root to make magic root beer.

One of the best themesongs of the 80's indeed.

  • One of the most awesome theme music ever for a cartoon. totally rocks.

  • The end of "Wheeled Warriors" sounds exactly like the Dokken song "Dream Warriors".

    Anyone else notice that?

  • will befor this song the song going to be Were the wheeled warriors

    Dont wanna driver no more

    Were the wheeled warriors

    And maybe tonight

Maybe tonight youll were going to stop at a red light

  • HA! Good one.

  • One of the most awesome theme music ever for a cartoon. totally rocks.

  • that and the galaxy rangers song!

  • sweet, memory lane here we come :)

  • OMG Jace & the WW!!!

awesome, damn diddnt see it for 17years mayb! thanx for posting!

  • to the think the number of kids being transformed into retards by camp rock.

    jayce was the shiz.

  • I got the first volume of this show on dvd (33 episodes). It rocks!

  • This tune was buried in my memories for a long time: Thank you for posting "Jayce and the Wheeled Warriors" original poster!

As a matter of fact: I didn't remember anything about the plot or the characters but the catchy opening...and that's because of the audio tape recordings I used to make when I was a kid!

The Latin american version had this same song but with the vocals in spanish...

It was on 33 UHF channel back to the 80's....if memory doesn't fail me....

    Cesar

  • this made me almost cry with good memories

  • 90's sucks 80's rules

  • True the 80s does rule but there were some cool shit in the 90s.

  • i remember back in the early 90s mattel use to make these car toys that reminded me of this shit...they were called attracks tacks or some shit like that...anybody know what im talkn bout?

  • yes. but only very vaguely.

  • do u remember what they where called? werent they like ATTRAX PAX or sum bullsh like that?

  • Didnt the toys have a feature called "Stack and Attack"? Allowing two of the cars to connect top and bottom.
